Synopsis of Events:  Homecoming
Captain Venger returns from her shore leave, along with several new and old members.  Upon her return she is annoyed to find that Ensign Kayne Frost has been nothing but trouble during her absense.  She finds him in her ready room, with a mess and confines him to the Brig.   Ensign Frost was later put on probation, made an Acting Ensign, and removed from the Hazard Team Black Knights.  Lt. Brian Walker was ordered to fix the mess, and chose to do so in an unusual way that left him bloody and bruised.

Since Captain Venger could not stand to look at her quarters or ready room, she went to the firing range, which is where she informed Lt. Commander Matthew Anderson that she wanted him to be the Acting XO during Commander Knox's absense.  A mysterious probe, and reckless piloting manuvers on the part of Ensign Frost, brought Captain Venger back to the bridge.  After this incident, Ensign Frost was promptly returned to the Brig and will soon be brought up on charges for court marticial.  The probe was found to be harmless and from a group of people known as the Brentarans.  Efforts are now underway to make first contact.

Before Ensign Frost's last escapade, Lt Brian Walker had a siezure and ended up in a comma due to mixing medications with a foreign substance.  Doctors have been unsure about his condition.  His actions have recently been found to be fatal, he died in a painful way.

With the situation on the Bridge now back in order, Captain Venger leaves.  She is headed for the Brig, where Ensign Frost has seemed to have a change of heart, before she goes there she heads to Sick Bay.  In the Brig, while Ensign Frost waits for the Captain, Doctor Knox arrives.  She does not, however, have permission from the Captain to be there and after a warning, is locked into a cell herself.

While visiting Sick Bay, Lt JG Bruce MacGregor gives her further informatioin on the Brentarans.  It is during that time that he is promoted to Chief Science Officer.  Also during this time the USS Galaxy comes out of warp fairly close to the Intrepid.  Their presence is a mystery since they don't respond to hails.  Eventually, there is communication between the captains of the vessels.  It is found out that on board is Commander Knox, returning from his mission.  Meanwhile, in the brig, Kayne is ready for action while Savanna Knox fades.

Instead of going directly to the Captain's Ready Room, Commander Knox goes to visit his sister, surprized to find her in the Brig.  He releases her and then takes her with him, to the Captain, to find out what is going on.  When he finds out why she was in the Brig he was suprized but goes along with the Captain's orders, as Savanna Knox is moved to Sick Bay for medical treatment.  Later, she makes it to the Brig where she speaks with Acting Ensign Kayne.  The conversation was certainly interesting and the Captain allows for one more chance with very specific conditions.

A new day has begun as the sip sets to explore the Davros system.  Although starting out normally, it has swiftly shifted to the almost chaotic, when Acting Ensign Kayne decided to take out his shuttle.  During communication with the Intrepid, Kayne was nearly killed by an enraged Commander Knox.  After returning to the ship, Kayne was met in the bay by security guards and has set his shuttle to destruct if anyone touches it.  Now the Captain must sort through this.  The ship is ordered to all stop.

After speaking with Captain Venger, Commander Knox leaves her ready room and experiences as severe heart attack.  Captain Venger then proceeds to speak with Acting Ensign Kayne, by the end of it though, the captain has the fighter beamed off the ship.  The craft then distructs and in anger Kayne throws a dagger at Captain Venger, nearly causing her bodily harm.  The Security Guards were quick to respond and rendered Kayne unconscious.  Kayne is now in Sick Bay as well.  It is believe that the fate of both officers will in part be determined by their will to live.

Both officers have found a will to live, however Kayne is sent to Starbase Atlantis to face Court Martcial.  The Intrepid resumes its course.

The Intrepid has arrived at the Brentaran planet, and contact was initiated by the Brentarans.  Arrangements are now being made to have them on board.  Soon the delegation arrives on board for their tour.

The tour went smoothly but now the Intrepid has been called to move on.
