The USS Intrepid is on course to the planet N'Torma. It is Delta Shift and most of the ship is quiet. But on the bridge the crew is still active, some counting the few hours until their shift ends because as usual nothing interesting is happening. During a routine scan the operations officer, Ensign Erica Fields, finds a poer drain in the sheilds. After informing the senior ranking officer on the bridge she begins searching for a cause, amd in doing so discovers a malfunction in the ships sensors. As a little more time passes by several more problems continue to develop. Because of the continued power drains and malfunctions Ensign Fields now has been ordered to contact the Captain. =/\=Bridge to Captain Venger. Asleep in her quarters Captain Venger awakes after hearing her name called. Moving her hand across her nightstand she locates her combadge and taps it =/\= Yes bridge? (Ensign Fields) =/\=Captain the ship has been experiencing several problems throughout the ship that cannot be explained" =/\=Very well, I will be on the bridge momentarily, Venger out" She sits up "Computer lights" The lights do not come on as usual ....must be on of those malfunctions... She then gets up and walk toward the bathroom. As she does somone comes from behind and knocks her unconscious to the floor. |

Lt Cmdr Matthew Anderson sat in his office in hazard operations. He was looking over Lt Cmdr Sarevok's report on the size of the Devore empire. He frowned and thought for a moment "I hope that this does not end up like another Dominion war". He placed the padd on his desk and gazed out of the window. He pressed his finger against his comm badge. =/\= Cmdr Anderson to all Hazard Team Staff. Please report to Hazard Team Operations meeting room in one hours time =/\= he thought it was time to prepare the hazard team for the worst, regarding the current diplomatic state between the federation and the Devore empire |

T'Pai entered her Quarters padding her face with a towel to remove the
sweat from her Susmana work out.
She noticed a PADD sitting on her desk and picked it up. When she
activated it she read that it was an intelligence report about the
Devore and knew who it was from.
Not to be one to jump to conclusions though she did a scan of the PADD,
and a security check on her room to verify that her suspicions were
indeed accurate.
She deleted the information and put in some new information. She placed
the PADD down as she headed for the shower. She walked over to the desk
now dressed in her Starfleet uniform and picked up the PADD as she
headed out of her Quarters and down the corridor to Sarevok's Quarters.
She pressed the button on the side of his door and waited for him to
answer. The doors swooshed open and Sarevok stood in his Quarters just
about to greet her with an arrogant smirk on his face.
She cut him off before he could say anything and handed him the PADD as
she said,
"Next time you even think of breaking in mine, or any other Quarters I
will bring you before an Article 32 hearing and prosecute you myself,
and believe me you don't want to see me on a mission like that."
With that said T'Pai turned around and headed back down the corridor to
the Turbolift where she entered and said,
"Deck 16"
Sarevok stood there and read what was now on the PADD.
"Uniform Code Of Federation Justice"
He read over the "UCFJ" as he re-entered his Quarters and his doors
closed.

OOC: Venger, thanks for clarifying that for me. Am I just overly reading this or are Sarevok and T'pai drowning in sexual tension. They seem to like to disagree with eachother to much to dislike eachother as much as they seem to. But im no expert, just enthusiastic. |

Dragon wakes up after a seemingly long rest at his desk in his quarters.
"Computer, what time is it?"
"2:47 p.m. on January 3"
"Oh crap!."
He quickly gets up from his chair and runs to his room and puts on his
uniform. Then he notices something blinking on his desk. He runs over
to his desk and picks up a padd. The padd reads that there is a meeting
in Hazard Ops in almost a half hour.
Realizing this, he runs back to his room and puts on his Hazard Uniform.
He walks out of his quarters and steps into a nearby turbolift.
"Deck 19, Hazard Ops." He feels the lift begin to move. A few moments
later, the lift arrives on deck 19. He steps out and walks over to the
Hazard Ops briefing room. The doors part and he steps in and looks
around.

In his quarters finishing writing his recon report. Looks at the time and sees it's almost time to go to the meeting. Finishes his report and walks over to his room and quickly into the new Hazard Team uniform. (well it's new to him since he was out on the the recon mission when they got it) sighs. walks out of his quarters and heads to for the tubrolift. Steps inside "Hazard Ops". The tl moves and soon arrives at deck 19. steps out and walks over to Hazard ops briefing room. steps inside and sees Dragon. "Hey Dragon! what's happening man?" waits for him to respond. |

Dragon sees him step in.
"I'm not sure man. I'm completely oblivious to this myself."
He walks down to the stands at the front of the room. As he stands
there, he begins to look around the round.

OOC: I posted in the language of Queyna, the more formal tongue of the elves of Middle-Earth. It's a Lord of the Rings thing, I suppose. I think the one AdmeralHoss posted in is a derivative of Elven. It looks sort of like Old Elven , although it looks more like Orkish meets Klingon. Hard to say. |

I googled drow. apparently its some kind of evil elven language in no way
affiliated with LotR or ST.

OCC: Let's see if i can bring some of that confustion to end. The mission at N'Torma was completed. and now we are working on the Mission at Melstrom which should become more developed sometime today or at the latest tomorrow. If you just want to figure out what went on with N'Torma ignore any post with a language you can not understand or anything that referrs back to it because it is not apart of the storyline. So remember we are on Melstrom,... and now that I think of it try not to referr to yourself as an old man. Captain Venger CO USS Intrepid |
