the sour cream actually goes into the icing, along with sugar and coconut, and then you let it sit a day or two before icing the cake, then after you ice it, the cake sits 3 days before cutting. Makes it really moist and I could almost eat a whole one myself....however, so many family showed up, I only got one piece
 
My hips thanked them for it, however
