thank you to everyone for thinking of me on my birthday.
Actually my birthday finally ended
last week with my last get-to-gether with a friend whose birthday was on the 18th of August..that is when we exchanged gifts.
I did go out a few times for lunches, breakfasts and a supper, also snail mail cards and gifts, lots of nice phone messages, email messages, group messages and gifts from friends.
In a support group im a member of, i was surprized by a very large delicious edible arrangement filled with fruit and chocolate dipped strawberries. There was about 100 pcs of fruit on that arrangement. The surprize event was planned about a week after my birthday...and i was NOT expecting that whatsoever. Very nice card, speeches made, and other gifts given to me.
My mom said that she has never known anyone before besides her sister whose birthday seems to last for a couple of weeks. Kind of makes me feel really special to be remembered and acknowledged.
So..to all of you i say THANK YOU for your birthday wishes too.
