Hey Smart, congratulations and "smart" move lol.
I am presently about twenty days short of one year since I smoked my last disgusting cigarette. Beleive me it is not an easy chore but one anyone can achieve if they put their mind to the test.
The withdrawal symptons generally last a couple of days. The mind game is what takes a tower of strength to overcome as in learning and adhering to new behavioural habits.
Should you happen to have one of them wee white things in your hand again take it and throw it to the ground, and stamp and crush it to smithereens, all the time saying "take that you rotten dirty killer".
I wish you all the luck in the world and have all the confidence that you will succeed.
Cheer
Frank
P,S. I am turning 67 and I cannot tell you how many attempts at quitting it took me to finally succeed.
My line is: "I am a smoker but I choose not to smoke today."
