thanks to you all. Kitten, Hugo came in through Charleston, SC and up through NC and when it hit Charlotte, it still had winds of 100 MPH. it then continued on through my  town. that's why I get so gun shy about these things. I had heard early in the morning that it could possibly be as bad a storm as Floyd or Hugo and that's why I panicked lol. I now hear it they predict it won't be as bad as originally thought so I feel alot better about it now. All we'll probably get is some rain, which we desperately need here in the Southest so this thing may be a blessing. Fay was, it helped us tremendously although there was some flooding in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. I'm not so worried about it as I was yesterday morning, it seems it won't be as bad as the CBS weather people were predicting earlier. These things are hard for them to predict I know but I kind of wish they wait to put us in a panic until it actually gets just a little closer to us. Most things I take with a grain of salt anyway but I do tend to over react whith these hurricanes
