The Rich Text Editor Tool

Here's what each of the buttons on the rich text tool does:

Button	Function
	Removes the selected text. Use the Paste command to insert the text in a different place.
	Copies the selected text. Use the Paste command to add the text in a different place.
	Pastes the cut or copied text where you place the mouse cursor.
	Lets you apply preset formatting to the selected text.
	Lets you display your text in a specific font.
	Lets you change the size of your text.
	Makes your text bold.
	Italicizes your text.
	Underlines the selected text.
	Lines up your text on the left.
	Centers your text.
	Lines up your text on the right.
	Creates a numbered list.
	Creates a bulleted list.
	Moves text to the left.
	Moves text to the right.
	Inserts a line.
	Inserts a link to a page within your group or to another Web site.
	Inserts a table.
	Adds a picture or photo to your message.
	Lets you change the color of your text.
	Lets you apply a background color to your page. (This option is only available for custom Web pages.)
	Lets you insert an emoticon (an emotion icon) to convey feelings or add personality.

Notes

Enter, select, and move text around just as if you were using a word processor (press ENTER once to create a new line, twice to start a new paragraph).
You cannot use HTML tags in the rich-text tool. If you want to work directly in HTML, scroll to the bottom of the rich text tool and select the Use HTML to create your page check box. (This HTML option is not available when adding items to lists.)
