Well this morning at 8:15am the new internet company came and hooked us up. I sure did miss you all and this wonderful place.
Alot has happened here in my home I had Surgery to implant a port on June 19th and this time around I had no complications or infection like I had last time. My blood sugars have been like a roller coaster up and down but only as high as 151 and blood pressure has been really good even going low enough that I now have to monitor it at home before taking my evening dose.
Roger is doing well he has been seizure free since February 16th. The doctors took him off all the medicine and they said they were called Pseudo seizures. From what I have learned these type are caused by stress. For Roger is was the way his body and brain dealt with the stress. So with some medication and counseling he is getting back to his old self PTL.
My oldest son Joshua was diagnosed June 13th with Complex Partial Epilepsy with Focal seizures & impaired consciousness. He was put on Keppra for his seizures. He has a family history of this and his cousin and uncle both have them but his uncle grew out of them once he was thru puberty so they are puberty onset seizures. Joshua also broke up with his girlfriend and is now starting to show signs of depression so he too begins counseling. He isn't dealing well with the Epilepsy diagnosis and break up
My 12 year old is doing so much better he was put on a Mood stabilizer and is a totally different child since he is on the Seroquel. PTL
My youngest, Jacob is having alot of behavioral issues but I am holding onto my faith knowing that we will find the right answer with GOD'S help.
Buddy Love & Lucky Chance; Faith & Mae, my furry babies, are all doing really well. They are doing their best to help us thru our day to day trials.
We are still in the process of finding a church to go to but we are waiting on the Lord to show us where he wants us to be.
Other than that we are all doing wonderful so please keep Joshua in your prayers and thank you all so much for all that you do and all that you mean to me and to this online family.
Thank you so much for your loving patients these past weeks.
Love in Christ,
Coleen
