W2K.com has late breaking news concerning W2K programming. The head of the W2K Ruling Commitee and Board, Jeremy McMillion- who got the position because he invested the most money into the restart- had this to say:
Jeremy McMillion: "We've been around and around with MSN Network, but W2K's credibility is all but gone. They won't put us on the air, and so now we come to a course of action we hadn't hoped to go to. We have to rebuild from scratch, and so we'll have a system of House Shows, each with their own name and individually booked for the fans right here in San Antonio, Texas."
"We'll be taping the shows, of course, to put in the portfolios of each individual wrestler for future job oppurtunites and 'best of' dvd contemplations, but right now MSN shows no interest in havving W2K back on TV."
"I know this sounds very grave, especially for a wrestling promotion that thrives on syndication and merchandising and needs the fanbase off a TV audience, but we've got to deal. We've got a chance to build back up and to get back to our roots, and become more intimate with fans."
"We have no idea how this will turn out. We might close tomorrow. But, we'll go out with a bang."
Interesting, W2K.com feels, because now we have no idea when, or even of, RAGE #107 will air. From what we gather, there will be a series of house shows, each named and who knows what they'll be or what will be on them! Stay informed.
