In a breaking story, Hamid Ismaili has successfully secured a two-hour time slot on national television.
Unlike the past, it won't be on MSN Network, nor will it be on HBO or FX.
"It's groundbreaking for us, because we've never been on this channel, and it's groundbreaking for them because they've never had wrestling on their programming. Both sides are verty excited," Hamid Ismaili said in a press release late last night.
Apparently, MSN Network stalled negotiations, citing that the Network is already saturated with wrestling programming like BUD, PWT, and more.
"There was just no room for us," acting CEO Trunks Kenni states, "and so we were in a bad position. W2K was great in the past, but since 2005 the product was just flat-out terrible. Leaving MSN for HBO was the final straw that broke MSN's back, and they just want nothing else to do with us."
What channel will W2K air?
The GT Network.
"It's a double edged sword. We actually have to pay to be on the network, but we can pay extra to run over, and we have no sponsers so we can say what we want, do what we want. We expect alot of great stuff coming, with the shackles MSN is placing on everyone else off our own wrists," Trunks Kenni also stated.
"I'm still running things until he [Hamid Ismaili] comes back from ICWA. I expect to air RAGE with a full on card an dhave some great stuff planned."
The GT Network now plays home to Wrestling 2000, to air shortly, some sources say even as near at this coming Monday [tomorrow].
