The hot topic around the W2K water-cooler this morning? The rumor that negotiations were nearing completion to bring back another W2K alumni, if only for appearances here an there for the moment. We dug a lil deeper and found out from the front office, namely Trunks Kenni, that this alumnist is none other than Christian Michaels.

"Yes, I can confirm that we're currently in negotiations to bring Christian back home for some appearances. Hamid may not like the guy much due to CM backing NED in ICWA, but he recognizes that bringing back older names that the fans know can help boost ratings."

And certainly can't hurt to bring back a guy who just last month won PWT's "King of PWT" tournament, is the fourth cornerstone in Synergy (Along with NED, Damo, an Xander before him), has been the W2K champion, and was Cruiserweight champion an unprecedented seven hundred and sixty days.

We were able to reach CM this afternoon for a comment. As many know he was one of the shocking alumni that decided to leave the company last year.

"Ya know something......It feels kinda strange to know that I may soon be making an appearance in W2K again. I swore up and down last year that I was done with this place when I saw what it was becoming. Why my father ever let this company sink to the levels that it was.....I'll never know his reasons. It was a relief though when I heard he closed the place down. W2K had went from having a family atmosphere to being one of a street-gang when I left."

When asked what he thought of W2K not being ran by his father for the first time in years, Michaels had this to say...

"I think its a great thing actually. Sure, Hamid's like a uber terrorist or something, but he can't be any worse than my dad. Besides, I hear Hamid's willing to be fair until you piss him off......Which is prolly not good for me since I've been on his badside in ICWA..."

Before ending the call, to tend to his sick daughter, Michaels was asked what his role will be in W2K.

"Honestly I don't know right now. I mean at the moment I don't have the time to be an active member of the roster full-time. So we'll just have to wait and see what comes along. All I can say for sure is that its going to be quite an experience being back in front of San Antonio fans."

Then he hung up on us and we were sad. :(
