Matt Matlock had a very busy weekend, competing in several matches in BUD, IWE & PWT. However currently he remains in serious but stable condition. At Hardcore Hell 2, he was involved in a very brutal street fight against 'The Right Hand Man' fiance of Georgia James, who Matlock had been lusting after for quite some time. The match never officially started as no bell rang, and it was mainly just a brawl through the back. However the two men ended up fighting out onto the streets leading into the Angel Arena, and a passerby on the road didn't see them in time. The car collided with both men as they went flying over the hood. Paramedics were on the scene immediately.

The 24 year old mother of one who was driving the car, who asked not to be named, was very upset. She said she didn't see the two men, and of course usually you don't see two wrestlers out in the street. Matlock is said to be in serious condition, but it is stable. He was scheduled to take on longtime rivals WallStreet & Jimmy Stryker alongside his partner, W2K Champion David Van Dam. But now things are sketchy. Matlock has NOT been cleared to wrestle, but at last report he was fighting with hospital officials to 'get the fuck out of his way' and let him head to San Antonio.
