Folks I just got this on my desk a few minutes ago. As I reported earlier Matt Matlock was in a local hospital in Grand Rapids after being hit with a car at Hardcore Hell. As I also reported he was trying to get out, not wanting to be stuck in a bed. Well apparently Matlock has dissapeared from his hospital room. Apparently he snuck out overnight. He has still NOT been cleared to wrestle by doctors, who say he may have a punctured lung and several cracked ribs. As well as stiches not full healed up from his battle against the Right Hand Man.
Oddly enough though, when I called each of Matlock's three residences, no one answered. It's obvious that he has not gone back home; question on my mind and everyone else's is where the hell is he?
He has issued a short press release however;
"No one can expect me to lay in bed while the battle between FWA, W2K & PWT is going on. I'm going to be involved in this war. Which side am I on? Well, it should be obvious if you aren't a fool."
More info when we get it.
