Joey Kewl reporting here for W2K.com. We got a chance to speak with Cross Monday morning when he got to the arena for his usual early morning workout, and he had the following to say.

"About Soul Survivor. I lost and I let down Wrestling 2000. I'm not gonna sit here whining and crying about what happened Sunday night because the fact is I didn't pull out the win. But I bet they can't beat me twice. You fooled me once, but I promise it won't happen again. This war is far from over, and you'll come to find that out on RAGE."

Despite doctors advice Cross has been wrestling with a pretty banged up body for the last several weeks, and all the deep cuts and punishment he took Sunday night only made things worse. All together he had over a hundred stitches in his face and arms. For those not too familiar with getting stitches. That's a hell of a lot. Doctors strongle advised Cross to stay at home all week and rest and to definitely NOT work Monday Night RAGE. But, as usual. Cross ignored everything and is already back in training the very next day. When asked for comment about Cross' stuborn ways Teddy Longfeather had the following to say.

"That's one tough mother right there. He lost more blood than anyone I've ever called a match for. I've seen some bloody messy brawls in my time, but that part there at the end was the absolute worst and goriest I've seen in all my years. If it were me and that position I would've just quit, but Cross wouldn't give in. He fought until his body shut down, and that's not a good thing to have happen. And now he's ignoring the doctors and he's planning on working, not only that he's planning on getting even. RAGE could be the end of the road for Cross if he isn't careful. He needs to realize he's only one man fighting an army, he needs help or his wrestling days or limited."

Later we looked for a comment by Ryan Cain, but he couldn't be found.
