News broke a day ago that The Prodigal Son had filed a lawsuit over maroon and gold.. Which from what we gathered from Jake himself was news to his ears. After he was his match with Scott Blaze, we caught up with Jake to ask about another possible lawsuit.
"What.. What lawsuit over colors? The last time I was in court I was facing 10 years in prison on federal charges, what makes you think I'd wanna go back?"
Apparently "Devin Devine" has claims that Jake and/or some of his associated have placed a lasuit against him for the color of his ring attire. When Jake heard where the rumor started from, he laughed and shook his head.
"Oh.. Them. Devin, eh? That guy will do anything for attention.. I hope he understands the law. Going public about a fake lawsuit can get him in some trouble with the court system.. But I heard the guy didn't even graduate from High School so it makes sense. Growing up in a trailer can really impair your growth from adolesence to adulthood, damn that guy had it bad."
Jake laughed once more.
"Kids though -- They'll learn eventually. I know what he's trying to do, but its for a dumb reason. RWS isn't ever gonna be the same as OCW or W2K no matter how much they want it to be. He can keep taking the BUD route and try to get their name out there with dumbass controversey; But its not working that well is it? I see the same people in that place that was there the last time, maybe Devine should think of an alternate way of promoting his place. No-one wants to get involved in backstage problems, its all for nothing. Devine can keep dropping stupid comments about lawsuits over colors.. But one thing remains.." Jake paused. "Unless you come to San Antonio or Hawaii and come see me; Its all for nothing. Talk all you want -- At the end of the day you're the one looking like a chump. You're bringing up age-old trouble about colors and byters.. Damn man, let it rest. If you've got a problem with me boy, don't be afraid. I'm not the one acting rugged to get a quick post on my forum -- Its you. If you're not planning on seeing me face to face, I ain't gonna bother with your six year old ways. My one year old nephew got more balls and maturity than you.. Step it up kid."
Shaking his head in disappointment; The Prodigal Son turned his attention off of us and back onto something far more important than an attention seeking jackass; Drinking his Vitamin Water. As a matter of fact, anything is more important than listening to a ignorant high school drop out reach for things to say.
