“Tyler Hayden signs exclusive six month contract to W2K.?/STRONG>

Somebody better ask Tyler Hayden if his career’s scotch taped to a yo yo string, because this week has been one hell of an up and down roller coaster to follow.
Making good on his name, Tyler Hayden has been as about as erratic as a Jeff Hardy retrospective. Look over the last few days and see if you can keep up.

Tyler gets to share the stage with renowned indy tag team, “The Freaks? during the last third of the Anarchy rumble, a huge deal on the independent wrestling scene. Tyler dumped the current PWT champion, Dante Cross, over the top rope after a sly Irish whip by Haywire, had sent Dante Cross into the back of...well, Cross. Cross and Ryan Cain then took matters into there own hands, softening Dante up for Tyler, and the shock eviction. Unfortunately for Tyler, his ass followed shortly after, but it was good exposure none the less for the returning star who had recently returned from a two year sabbatical.

So, the Yo Yo’s on the up (sort of)...then....

Events nose dived as the chain smoking poster boy for Marlboro was unceremoniously fired on the spot over at Frontier Wrestling Alliance on Friday, March 14th due to an, “incident? involving Alex Redding and BUD main eventer Sparrow backstage. The sketchy series of events resulted in Alex requiring fourteen stitches to the back of his skull. FWA is currently playing it up as a, “mistimed chair shot? directed at Sparrow after his attack on Tyler earlier on in the evening following a falls count anywhere match with FWA mainstay Ramirez. However, IWC guru, David Meltzer on Saturday brought up the point that Tyler is known as a “hardcore specialist? So the idea that he could miss a simple shot in an enclosed environment such as an FWA dressing room, seemed somewhat, “fishy? to say the least. Meltzer believed the story wasn’t done yet, and by God, if he wasn’t right.

The Yo Yo bounces back.

“With the return of W2K owner, Hamid Ismaili this week. It should  come as little surprise that he’s begun to reconvene a drive to have his talent sign, “exclusivity contracts?with the company. The first name on the dotted line...Tyler Hayden. The contract is for six months, with improved pay and insurance cover.?/EM>

HUH?

So, Tyler busts open the skull of his former employee, gets his ass fired from FWA on Friday. But by Monday, he’s got himself an exclusivity contract with W2K, and a main event match with none other than Ryan Cain. The same Ryan Cain that left FWA under a cloud of colluded controversy himself only three weeks ago.

The question now on everyone’s lips is, did Tyler hit Alex accidently or on purpose? Of course, both Tyler’s PA and wife, Trudy “Trinity? Sloan and Hamid Ismaili have both expressly denied the rumors, citing the incident over in FWA as, “regrettable? But it still seems strange that Tyler will be rewarded with the main event spot so soon, especially after an attack that could have sent the New York born wrestler to the big house.

Thankfully for Tyler, no charges have been brought up in the case. Rumors persist backstage at FWA that Tyler got off scot free, because Alex is trying to cultivate a “hard man?image, and by running to the cops, he would have lost face with the workers.

Hard man image? Yeah right.

Whatever the reason, Tyler is on the up again. Only time will tell if he can stay there.
