It’s a funny thing this world of pro wrestling. A company can do whatever it damn well pleases and it thinks that people won’t start to ask questions. That’s the problem, people are starting to ask questions. People are starting to wonder what exactly the hell is going on in PWT and the fact that their Heavyweight Champion has not been seen in the ring on TV .. EVER. Kinda makes you wonder huh? We open on a small radio studio and two men sitting in front of microphones. One’s bald and the other one is fat with dyed blond hair. I could only be talking about the currant PWT Heavyweight Champion and the currant W2K Impact Champion, the most controversial man in wrestling today, Dante Cross!�?/FONT> Zinger: “This is going to be good! Dante’s known for not holding back and we’ve got a TON of questions for him, from us and submitted from our fans .. the whole dozen of them!�?/FONT> Slim: “That’s up from two last week!�?/FONT> Zinger: “Enough of this, let’s get our guest out here and get this started!�?/FONT> They play the chorus of “Go To Sleep�?by Eminem as Dante walks into the studio and sits down (this is all being broadcast on a webcam for download later) Slim: “Thank you for being here Champ!�?/FONT> “No problem, I normally don’t have time for these things but I had some extra time so here I am.�?/FONT> Zinger: “Let’s just jump right in ok? You’re extended family Team DOA is in our green room along with Vex’s bitch for the week; Sean Hunter .. I have to ask .. is he really carrying the PWT Heavyweight Title in a little pink duffle bag?�?/FONT> “Yup.�?/FONT> Both of them laugh. Zinger: “I have to go see this, I’ll be right back ..�?/FONT> Zinger gets up and leaves the studio .. Slim: “Why are you carrying around the PWT Heavyweight Title in a pink bag?�?/FONT> Dante shrugs. “Why should I respect a company that doesn’t respect me? Since this Title match against Nova is going to as gay as Brian Juneau on a Saturday night, I’m just getting the Title all warmed up for Nova and his inevitable Title reign.�?/FONT> Slim: “Let me ask you about that, even Seifer has said publicly that you’re just holding the Title until Nova takes it, insinuating that you can’t beat him at Criminal Intent, that the fix is in. Are you just making excuses? Seems like a bit of a conspiracy theory like Nova said. That you’re already making excuses fror when you lose to him.�?/FONT> “Let me ask you this, how is Nova so confident that he’s going to beat me? Is Dante a pushover? I saw the way booking was going there for me and noticed I wasn’t getting any TV time so to be ready for Nova, I booked a match in BUD in Quebec City. I took matters into my own hands and I’m glad I did it now. Unlike some of the people in PWT, I don’t need that place to further my career or get over, I’m international, intercontinental and inter-promotional.�?/FONT> Slim: “Nice shot on Nova ..�?/FONT> “That wasn’t directed at Nova fatboy. Or at the inter-promotional show? Or even having my Title match with Nova acknowledged? Read the writing on the wall kiddies, whole episodes of Shockwave go by and my name isn’t even mentioned once even though I’m the Heavyweight Champion. I figured I’d put all of my efforts into winning the PWT Heavyweight Title and give it one year and see where I was. I started from the bottom with a standard wrestling contract. I worked my first PWT PPV against Kane Thrice .. I kept fighting. I tapped out to Seifer and lost the Titanium Title .. I picked myself up and kept fighting. I got fucked over by Georgia James in my first Heavyweight Title match .. I kept fighting. I came here to win the Title at least once and I’ve done that .. fuck them if all of a sudden I’m not in their cool books. Now that I’ve won the Heavyweight Title off a worthy Champion, I can move on to my ultimate goal.�?/FONT> Slim: “Let’s talk about the Triple Crown and W2K. How’s it going in Texas?�?/FONT> “Things are moving along. I had a setback at the Anarchy Rumble but it’s just a speed bump, nothing more. As long as the doors stay open ..�?crosses his fingers. �?. I garen-damn-tee I’ll be W2K Champion by the end of the year, if not by the end of the summer. We got the best damn roster on the circuit right now, we’ve got a stable war brewing that’s going to explode real soon, all the things are in place right now for an epic season for W2K.�?/FONT> Slim: “If you win the W2K Championship, that’ll make you only the second person in history to win the top title in all of the ‘big three�?.. what does that mean to you?�?/FONT> “It means a hell of a lot to me and nothing at the same time. The W2K Championship is a goal and I am the type of person to set goals when I enter a company. I’m not going to show up somewhere and be content to sit around and see what they ‘give�?me, I go after whatever goal I have set for myself. The W2K Championship and the Triple Crown are my goal right now and have been since I won the PWT Heavyweight Championship. Once I won that, there was just one piece missing from the picture. No one can stop me when I’m focused and after April 13th, I’ll have even more time to devote to that goal. But if I W2K closes again, I’m not going to cry about it, shit happens. It’ll open again and then I’ll see where my career is at that point. I don’t *need* the Triple Crown, I *want* it.�?/FONT> Zinger: “Any problems with coming in second again to Seifer?�?/FONT> “If you think about it from your narrow point of view, then ya. The facts speak for themselves, Seifer is one of the greatest men to ever lace up the boots and that’s why I was partners with him for so long. There was a time when I was consumed with jealously towards my former tag team partner but that’s a long time ago. I consider it an honor if I win the Triple Crown and then well .. The smartest thing he ever did was ditch that worthless cunt Georgia James. We talked a little while ago and he wished me luck in winning the Triple Crown. You’ve been known to be the type of guy who likes to surround himself with other wrestlers, be part of group, New Blood, IV Horsemen and now Team DOA. Why is that?�?/FONT> “That’s a stupid question. It’s obvious, there’s power in numbers. That’s why stables are integral to pro wrestling. I can get more accomplished when I have a group of people that are like minded. New Blood was about fighting back against the established cliqs in BUD, to set ourselves apart from the rest of the rookies running around. The IV HorseMen were the evolution of the New Blood and Seifer and myself. The IV was about domination, about taking what we wanted and not waiting for anything.
