I was asked by W2k.com to write up this article because they really didn't want the article about Johnny's massive ego, there's apparently a big deal about the titles right now. Please note that w2k.com isn't run by Hamid and Jerm, so there's some gaps in the information here.

Sofar, we KNOW that all titles were to merge into the W2K Title at Fade 2 Black; and we KNOW that didn't happen. We also KNOW Jerm froze the titles for the time being at RAGE 103.

It's taken some time but, Jerm and Hamid may be close to an agreed "arrangement". As MSN put pressure on them to make W2K "different", perhaps like an emo and add RPG elements that no one cares about *snicker*, they thought at first one title would somehow and someway churn out more competition.

But, seemingly by accident a new "way of doing things" may be in the works.

This is what we THINK:

W2K has two titles, both with all the smaller, lesser titles merged into them and both with lineages that other promotions would kill for to have tacke don to their own titles. The original plan called for one title with one lineage, but, it's assumed Hamid looked over Jerm's cigar smoke and said, "sometimes two is better than one".

This two-title situation may stay. There's rumors that a re-vamp of competition is in the works; emphasiszing the importance of a "partner", as a team-based oreintation may take affect. Apparently, with the basence of tag titles, and the lack of tag team discipline, is a rampant misfortune amongst all feds on the MSN Circuit; as most teams are tacked together or left overs from various other things.

So with no tag titles, it was asked in this meeting that included Jerm, Hamid, Trunks and even Joey Kewl, with a couple unnamed wrestlers (rumor is NED himself was a part of it), what if, say, The W2K and Impact titles were kept seperate but equal, but together sometimes too?

And interesting question and it seems that, if this goes through, Ryan Cain will be the W2K Champion, Haywire will be the Impact Champion- and they will also in some form- be the Tag Champions together, too. However, they won't officially be the tag champs and there's no plans in bringing back tag championship titles; so this is meaning a sort of Deul Existance for the titles: seperate but equal; singular but plural at the same time.

It's almost like the Quantum Physics of title belts. Now I'm not fully understanding the situation, but this seems to be almost-on the mark as you can get in the dark.
