Just saw this yesterday; a week after it came out. Before going, I made the mistake of seeing a few online reviews on youtube, that said the movie sucked.

Indiana Jones did not suck. Infact, it stuck with the series and even referenced "Raiders of the Lost Ark" countless times. Many reviews did blast the use of CGI but, other than the parts necessary for the computer effects, nothing stood out as "omg this is just overkill".

I just watched the movie with my wife and two friends, and, enjoyed it. Simply enjoyed it. So much so that, I even went out and bout the original trilogy today (with "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Temple of Doom", and "The Last Crusade"). I still think that "The Last Crusade" was the best and most thought provoking of the series, as the search for the Holy Grail was pretty cool.

Just for anyone who hasn't watched this movie yet, the story is similar and on track (as they're searching for the same city) as "National Treasure 2", but it's done much better, as Harrison Ford > Nicolas Cage, and infact after watching thsi fourth installment I can clearly see that National Treasure is almost too similar to Indiana Jones, but not so much as a copied series, but still a it close.

I liked it, and I recommend it. I don't recommend nitpicking it because it kills the enjoyment of the overall movie.
