Yeah, you know they call me Seifer
But you don’t know me
You be hatin?and I see why
Cuz you don’t know me

When people don’t know how to handle or deal with the future, they resort to looking back at the past. They do this because they don’t know what is to come, or how they should react should he come for them, so they go with what they have seen, what they have heard, or what they know from the past, using it as a safeguard for their defenses, a way for them to feel comfortable. You want to feel comfortable, well then feel it, because this right here is the closest it will get for a while.

There are something’s in life, you’ve just got to deal with without looking back. The Triple Crown has been brought up numerous times already, all by others beside Seifer. Why? For no real reason. Because that’s one of the many things he’s remembered for, yet since January Seifer has more or less made it known his intention isn’t for any title, it’s for the God of Wrestling.

So then, what was to become of Seifer’s Fade to Black match? Was he destined to lose or did he half ass his effort because he didn’t really want to go for the W2K or Impact Championships? Nah. Seifer was given an unexpected opportunity , and he ran with it, excited about the chance to compete for the championship once more, even if that wasn’t his first goal back. He fumbled and fell, but that’s life. Seifer’s never been one to complain about losing because it happens, no one is invincible. Anyone who thinks otherwise clearly doesn’t pay attention. There are people out there who are trying in vain to paint Seifer as someone who half asses things, someone who is over the hill and past his prime, as if he were fading away or something. Yet those people are only speaking out of jealously or ignorance, not fact.

They are hoping people of W2K are blind and will follow them without question. Only the ignorant do not question and take what is said from a secondary party as fact. You want the truth, you go to the man himself. Seifer did not half ass anything, he simply didn’t win. On the bright side he didn’t exactly lose either. However that’s neither here nor there for the match winner, Con Escobar, certainly deserved it. Seifer’s been there, done that, and will be there again. You want to know why Seifer wasn’t *Seifer*? Why you didn’t see him at his best? It’s a little something called rust. Not ring rust, but federation rust. It’s an obvious fact that W2K is a little different from other federations. It always has been, and always will be. Take a gander at the changes that are happening now, it is providing innovations to the wrestling industry not seen since IRX. So even though Seifer has history here, it takes a little time to truly get back into the W2K groove. If it was so easy to just fall into a flow in W2K then many outsiders would try their luck. However it’s not as easy as it looks, it takes the time and dedication to get on a roll and get to the top. For Seifer, all it takes is feeling his new direction, feeling *it* again. His first match back was a failure and now everyone is on his back. Good. Attack him with the past so that when the time comes he can laugh at you and trump you with the future.

Are you enjoying your comfortably numb state of mind yet? The song quotes at the beginning that he’s used from time to time for a good four years now. Even the teal mania has returned, just for you, all of you. Hey Seif, want to douse the world with some of that world renowned ego?

“Nah.?/FONT>

Or perhaps continue to ride your name without working?/FONT>

“Heh.?/FONT>

Wait a second, when was the last time he actually did that? Surely not in his only match back in W2K, definitely not in PWT this year, and most certainly not in FWA either. So I guess whomever was dumb enough to say that, is just dumb. Cause I clearly remember Seifer being one of the very few internationally known names who works for things and doesn’t simply ride his legacy. He’s one of those rare breeds who doesn’t rely on the past to get him places in the future. If he did he’d have died out like so many other ‘legends? Instead, he re-invents himself, time and again.

So while Dreamboat continues to talk out of his ass and Cross jumps on the boat suddenly becoming so judgmental after one match, which isn’t like him at all, Seifer will silently smile at all of them knowing that they would have been better off keeping their mouths shut until they actually had some evidence to support their words.

That isn’t a threat either, it’s merely a statement of opinion. For when Seifer returned to W2K, he did so on his own, with no hype whatsoever. One minute he wasn’t here, the next he was. He’s on a mission all his own right now and the only thing that matters is becoming the God of Wrestling. Many have entered, some even coming out of the woodworks, Seifer knows, and Seifer’s acutely aware of the different outcomes and possibilities. Soon it will be time for all of it to get underway, but hey, don't take my word for it, hear it from The Crownless himself.

I guess he really is half assing things, the prick. Let the games begin.
