___                         ___                         ___

It’s warm and dark; the trees slowly blow in the wind as the rustling sound of leaves can be heard. A couple of eyes pierce through the darkness as the figures hide behind the bushes, voices can be heard coming from them.

?Man, I still don’t know what we’re doing here, I wish you’d tell me these things before dragging me on your adventure trips.?/FONT>

“This is hardly an adventure trip, Leon, it’s me getting what I need.?/FONT>

The second voice is recognizable, none other than Seifer’s.

“And that is??/FONT>

“Shhh, there they are.?/FONT>

If they could duck any lower, they do on Seifer’s lead. Up in the distance a couple of shadowy figures are seen, one slightly smaller than the other and an exchange is made. The two of them shake hands and then go to break it but the shorter one pulls the taller in closer and brings his other hand to his body.

“Shit. We gotta do something.?/FONT>

Seifer doesn’t move.

“Seifer we gotta do something dammit!?/FONT>

Again he doesn’t move but Leon does and he rushes out there just in time for the shorter man to let go of the taller and pull a gun, Seifer jumps out but Leon is quick and flicks out a spinning heel kick to knock the gun away, stunning the man. Leon follows up with a left under hook that knocks the man out as he grabs his cell phone, looking at the other man that had been stabbed. Seifer meanwhile, just kind of stands there, staring.

“This wasn’t supposed to happen. What the hell has happened to this park, they were cleaning it right up.?/FONT>

Leon finishes his conversation and looks back over to Seifer.

“Dude, get your head together!?/FONT>

Seifer looks around with shifty eyes.

“I need my fix.?/FONT>

“Your fix? What the hell?THAT’S what this was about??/FONT>

“I don’t think you understand, it’s been too long, I need my fucking fix.?/FONT>

“Dude, don’t tell me you’re going all Ryan Cain on us now.?/FONT>

Seifer scoffs as he sits on a bench nearby.

“Don’t insult me.?/FONT>

“My bad, but seriously, I can hear the sirens now, let’s just get these guys where they need to be and we can go from there.?/FONT>

Leon makes sure the guy is still breathing and applying pressure on his knife wound. Meanwhile Seifer walks over and picks up the little case that contained no doubt the drugs. He walks over and throws it into the water, watching as it sinks to the ground when the cops and ambulance arrives.

Time Lapse.

Seifer was now sitting on the edge of the concrete wall, Leon finishing up his questions with the cops. Seifer had already finished with their protocol explaining what happened. It was pretty easy to reveal seeing as they had cameras on them the entire time. Seifer looks back in the water where he threw the case.

“You know, a lot of people would kill for whatever types of drugs I just threw into the water. Whether it would be for their personal use, or to distribute to make some cheddar, they would be willing to take the risks necessary to do what they felt they had to do. Tonight didn’t go the way I had planned, this promo is coming off completely different from what I wanted to do because of what we just experienced but I hear he’ll live.?/FONT>

Seifer nods.

“So instead of the drug addict in dire need of a fix, I’m the titleholic, Bobby Johnson coined phrase, in dire need of another title to put a smile on my face. It’s not a habit I want to break and it isn’t something I need, but it’s something I’d like. Something that can give me that extra umpf heading into the coming weeks, whenever the tournament resumes. As I said before, I don’t need to keep it, I just want to win it, and I’m damned determined to do at least that.?/FONT>

Seifer counts on a few fingers.

“Xavier, Marcus, Shifty are just some of the names of guys who have spoken up and let their desires be known and will no doubt provide some good competition. Yet there are plenty of guys and gals out there who could come for that title at some point in the night. I’ve been apart of 24/7 situations before and let me tell you, it can be crazy.?/FONT>

Leon finally finished and the cops leave with their criminal, the ambulance had already left.

“Tell ‘em about the THC.?/FONT>

“Why? No one cares about the Domain here.?/FONT>

“Still, 24/7 championship that you held for a record of what, 40 days straight??/FONT>

“Forty seven.?/FONT>

“So you do remember!?/FONT>

“Like a fox. Yeah, I’ve got experience in these types of environments and know how to watch my back, but I’m not looking for that. All I need to do is find the champion, lay him or her out with a Blood Spiller or something and bam, the title is mine.?/FONT>

“Still though, you’ve been acting weird?your odd behavior half an hour ago?you not wanting to really keep the title?doesn’t seem you.?/FONT>

The Crownless can’t help but smile.

“That’s the most logical thing you’ve said all day. Clearly I’m not the same Seifer everyone remembers, yet no one has seemed to pick up on it. I know a guy who would, but at the moment our paths haven’t crossed, maybe one day they will. For now I’m going to keep doing what I must. Like those who would be willing to sell drugs to make money, I’m willing to take the high risks and put myself out there to win the High Risk. A title most would question why Seifer would even consider trying to go for. Yet those who question that do not understand what’s going on right now. They don’t understand that sometimes there is something bigger.?/FONT>

He stands up and winks now.

“There is always something bigger planned. For now it’s time to get to the arena and settle in for a fun night of RAGE. Kick back, watch you all wrestle and decide when the time is right for me to take my fix, by any means necessary.?/FONT>

Seifer walks away with his friend to his side.

“Time to put the pieces in place... because I sorely need to.?/FONT>

The scene seizzles out.
