The next morning, CM and Summer went about their normal routine of getting ready. CM was in the bedroom doing this thing when he noticed the laptop was open but not on. It wasn't like that last night. So he started over to close it but out of curiousity turned it on. Once it was up and loaded, CM went in the history and clicked on the last thing and up came Summer's blog. He read it and then surfed the net a little as he waited for Summer to finish up in the bathroom. And he didn't know if it was an accident or just pure fate but he came across Palsied's blog. He left it up figure Summer would want to see it.
A few minutes later as Summer came out of the bathroom dressed and running fingers through her slightly damp hair, CM was pulling a t-shirt over his head.
"You were on your laptop last night?"
"Yeah, couldn't sleep."
"Nice blog."
Remembering the end, Summer blushed some.
"Thanks."
"I found something that might interest you."
"Oh really? What?"
"Check it out."
CM motioned toward the laptop and Summer went over to get a look. She nearly laughed at the sight as she saw what it was. After skimming it, Summer turned toward CM and spoke.
"I need to be going. I'll be back in a bit."
"What no thank you kiss?"
Summer walked over and gave him a quick kiss on the mouth and then was out the door in no time. She walked down the hall and knocked on the door.
"C'mon in. It's open."
Summer walked into the room to find Xavier dressed and sitting on the bed watching television. At least he had clothes on this time.
"Watching anything good?"
"Not really, was hoping to find Palsied on tv again, so I could talk about him."
"Well you won't find him there."
When Xavier looked over confused at Summer and raised an eyebrow at her, she explained what happened, which had Xavier laughing.
"You got to be kidding right?"
Summer shook her head.
"I wish I was."
Summer noticed the little camera Xavier had set up within the room and spoke sarcastically.
"Mind if I say a few words to our good friend, Palsied?"
"That's what it's there for."
Xavier shrugged his shoulders as Summer laid across the bottom of the bed. Xavier muttered something about making herself comfortable, which made Summer chuckle before going to speak.
"Ya know what they say Palsied. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. And I must say that coming from you its annoying. I mean first it was the narrator thing and now this. What is this like anything you can do I can do better? Well anything you do you just make it worse, because there's nothing like the original. I mean seriously what are you trying to prove? All your proving to me is you can think for yourself. And if you can't think for yourself, come up with your own ideas, how do you expect do get through this match?"
That is a good question, wasn't it?
"I don't run and I'm sure as hell not hiding from the likes of you, Palsied. If you believe otherwise you must have had your fill of crack for one day and it's clouding your mind. But that's okay Palsied, I understand you not wanting to see what lies ahead for you."
It was looking a bit bleak for Palsied.
"You can escape the truth for just a bit longer, but then once you are standing in the ring across from us, you will see the reality of my words. I'm not the kinda person that talks just to talk. I'm talking in hopes that you will listen and take this as a warning. But you're not smart enough for that."
Such a shame.
"Just like you aren't smart enough to see the benefits of Xavier and I working together. It gives us the upperhand. It allows us to beat on you senseless until we get bored. And it allows us to be victorious because you aren't going to be able to stop what we are going to do to you. Maybe it does have to do with the fact we are friends, but the fact that we're friends doesn't change how much we each want the TV Championship. We just choose to fight it out as adults instead of dealing with someone so childish. We know what wrestling is and how it works. We also know how to use the situation to our advantage. And we'll use the numbers game to take you out of the equation."
Plain and Simple. PWT Superstar + PWT Superstar = One Less W2K Superstar. Gotta love math. Meltdown was going to be the end of Palsied.
"And Palsied, if my opponent gave me any thing to worry about, then I'd have something else to focus on besides CM's package. But since I don't I'll just enjoy the view."
Xavier was snickering as Summer turned on her side away from the camera to look at him.
"Do you have anything to add?" |
