CC Preshow:

William Rodney Mercy def. Matt Taylor
via forfeit
Mercy takes it to Matt, and Matt takes it right back. Shortly into the match, Taylor climbs a turnbuckle, but is slammed from behind by WRM. Taylor takes a spill to the outside and lands directly on the guard rail, and immediately is on the floor holding his ribs and yelling. The referee manages to back Mercy off long enough for Taylor to be disqualified for a serious injury. Medics take Matt away and we are informed that he appears to have sustained some very serious injuries, which have yet to be determined.

RAGE:

JT Kash def. KD Simon
via pinfall
KD and Kash put on a solid technical display, but the veteran JT is able to continually pull out lucha-like moves to catch KD off guard. Midway into the match, KD begins reversing these lucha moves into complex counters. He begins to mount an offense, to the dismay of the "cult". JT goes for his Grande Finale, but KD reverses into a Huricanrana Pin that sends JT out of the ring and gets him a little steamed. KD follows after, but the chase around the ring leads him back inside where Kash is waiting. JT goes for the Stimga Killer, KD tries to counter, but he's turned back around and the second one connects hard. JT nails the Stigma Killer and advances in the GOW tournament.

Joey: Welcome back to RAGE ladies and gentlemen, we've already seen JT Kash advance in the God of Wrestling tournament earlier tonight by defeating KD simon and now its time for our next of four tournament matches tonight.

Trunks: Ya that last match was somethin else I gotta say, but this next one.....this is what I've been waiting for

A minute passes by and finally; "My Time" re-write with Motorhead explodes through the speakers and the crowd growns and boos. As red and white strobe lights scan around the crowd the entrance stage erupts with red pyros. His face is ice cold and emotionless as he proceeds from the entrance stage down the ramp with a building amount of confidence in his step. As he arrives at the bottom of the steel rampway he takes a turn to the right and asscends on to the black steel steps at the ring post in the far right corner. Ace proceeds up the stairs, taking his sweet time. Ace steps up onto the apron and walks along it a bit letting his right hand glide lightly along the top rope, making it twitch a bit. Ace then stops and looks out at the booing fans. He slowly raises his arms in the air and lets out a mighty roar to the crowd, who boo back. He finally lets his arms drop before turning and stepping over the middle rope and ducking down under the top as he steps into the ring.

Joey: Theres my pick for the winner tonight Trunks....Ace Hart has been on fire as of late and I wont be surprised at all to see him advance and even win the tournament.

The lights  suddenly the lights dim. They turn black & red when a hard guitar line suddenly comes over the speakers. The fans are on their feet as Papa Roach's "Getting Away With Murder" starts to play. Thirty seconds in, they start to boo when they see Matt Matlock step out onto the stage in blue jeans, a black colored "Adidas" muscle shirt, sneakers & a pair of shades. He stands there and grins. As the chorus begins he jerks both arms up in the air as pyro blasts down the ramp.***

I feel irrational
So confrontational
To tell the truth I am
Getting away with murder

A huge blast goes off on the stage now. As the smoke subsides, he has a huge grin on his face as he makes his way down the ramp.

"Ladies and gentlemen...from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada...weighing 240 pounds, "The Cornered Animal", Matt Matlock!"

He reaches the ring and slides in, heading for the nearest turnbuckle as the chorus starts again. As it does, he sticks both arms out to his side as pyro shoots off rapidly in the ring behind him. He lowers his arms and it stops. He then hops down and watches Hart who stares right back at him as the both of them wait for the final opponent in this match.

Trunks: You might be cheering for Hart Joey....but my pick personally is....

Trunks doesnt get the chance to finish his sentence as the lights slowly begin to dim down and 'Survival of the Sickest' begins to play over the speaker system. The beginning cords play through and at the point where the lead singer yells out "1, 2, 3, 4!" two gold pryos fall from above the ring and hit the stage with serious impact! Gold strobe lights begin to move around the arena as the music begins to get louder and faster. In the middle of all this, a spotlight appears on the steel stage and as the smoke clears, we can see a man walk from out of the curtain and directly into the light....Scott Blaze. The icon looks around at the crowd and takes in the booing as if they are cheering him on. He looks down at his opponents in the ring and immediatly, his facial expression quickly goes from a cocky grin to a cold stare as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, the spotlight never leaving him. Finally, he reaches the ring apron and grabs the ropes, pulling himself up onto it and into the ring. He quickly pulls off his new tshirt sporting the slogan "Legends Fade...Icons Are Forever" and climbs up onto the second turnbuckle, showing off his more than perfect physique. Finally, he climbs down as the music comes to an end and the house lights come back on.

All three men stare at each other from their respective corners for a moment, remaining in place even after the bell has been rung and the match officially starts.

Joey: My god Trunks, you could cut the tension here with a knife!

Trunks says nothing, but nods instead as finally each man makes their way into the middle of the ring. Ace and Scott keep their eyes on each other at all times. Without another moments warning, both Matlock and Blaze charge Hart, who is able to fend off Matlock but is quickly met by a hard right hand from Blaze, taking the 'King of Harts' off his feet. Matlock quickly gets his bearings and comes back to help Blaze pick up Ace and the two succeed in putting him right back where he was, on his back, on the mat. Blaze quickly picks up Hart once again and attempts a DDT but Hart catches Scotts foot, sweeps his other one from under him and drops an elbow to the groin! Matlock quickly charges at Hart for a clothesline but once again Ace avoids the attack, ducking and hitting Matt with a ddt when he turns back. Hart acts quickly, picking Matlock up by his hair and dragon whipping him into the turnbuckle, disposing of him for the time being. He quickly turns back to Blaze, who is getting to his feet now. The two men begin to trade punches back and forth until finally, Blaze blocks one of Aces and laces into him, taking him into the turnbuckle. Wasting no time, Scott picks up Ace and puts him on the top, climbing up after him and hitting a top rope superplex! Matlock in the mean time has gotten back to his feet but is put right back to the mat with a lightning fast superkick courtesy of the only man still standing, Scott.

Trunks: Its like I told you Joey.....Scott is going to win this one

Joey: You could very well be right Trunks....its still anyones ballgame though

Back in the ring, Blaze has disposed of Ace over the top rope and is now burrying his boot into Matlock in the corner. Finally, the referee forces him to stop, and so Scott picks up Matlock, but receives a thumb to the eye from Matt, who comes back on the offense and downs Blaze with a quick vertical suplex! He goes right back to work on the icon, picking him up once again and hitting an incredible orange crush drop! Matlock quickly covers for the first pin of the match, but just gets a two count as Blaze shows that he wont go down without a fight! Matlock shakes his head and grins as he picks Blaze back up only to take him right back down with a scoop slam! He quickly goes up top and waits there a moment and finally, Blaze stands up. Just as Scott turns around, Matlock jumps off the turnbuckle and attempts a missle drop kick! Now, ATTEMPTS is the key word here, as Blaze is able to dodge the kick at the last second letting Matlock feel the hard canvas once again.

Trunks: I'm no wrestler Joey....but that HAD to have hurt!

Scott slowly picks up Matlock, but as he does, hes clubbed in the back of the head by Ace Hart, who has gotten back to his feet and into the ring. Scott goes down to one knee and Ace quickly takes care of Matlock, grabbing him by the head and tossing him right over the top rope and to the ground fiercly. Scott slowly gets back up just as Ace turns around and both men stare at each other for a moment.

Joey: Oh god Trunks....this is it.....this is gonna be big!

Without another moments warning, both men charge at each other and end up connecting with a double clothesline that takes both men to the mat! If the ref WAS counting, he would have gotten up to a count of 5 before Blaze begin to get to his feet. Ace slowly follows suit, but Scott notices this and quickly puts him back down with a cheap, and very hard, kick to the ribs! The referee warns Scott against that, but Blaze brushes the warning off, and as if out of spite for the ref, he does it again! Blaze picks Ace back up and tosses him against the ropes, taking him right back down yet again with an impressive standing drop kick. Blaze quickly covers Ace, but Hart is able to get a shoulder up in time. Outside, Matlock has finally gotten back to his feet and is in the ring once again to take down Blaze with a clothesline! He quickly dumps Scott to the outside, much like Scott did before, to finally get his hands on the 'odds on favorite' Ace. Hart begins to climb to his feet and is met with a right hand from Matlock, but quickly blocks it and retaliates with his own left. Both men trade blows for a minute until finally, Ace burries a knee into Matts gut and continues to drive him into the mat with a incredible powerbomb! Ace quickly covers for the pin, thinking that hes got it won, but the pin attempt is broken up by Blaze, who jumps off the turnbuckle and hits a leg drop on BOTH men! Scott quickly tries for a pin on Matlock, but Matt gets a shoulder up just barely. He tries to pin Ace, but like Matlock, Hart manages to get his shoulder up at the last second!

Joey: Neither man is ready to give up just yet!

Ace finally gets to his feet and grabs Blaze, whipping him into the ropes. Blaze however has other plans and comes back to try and hit a diving forarm smash. He hits Ace with the move, and Ace stumbles back into the turnbuckle....where the referee is standing! Both the referee and Ace fall to the ground and Blaze smirks, turning around and CRACK! Steel to bone as Matlock nails Scott head on with a steel chair that he grabbed right after the ref was knocked out! Matlock quickly throws Blaze back out of the ring and shakes his head, obviously feeling that hes got this match won. He turns around just in time and is almost cut in half by a vicious GORE by Ace Hart!

Trunks: The Crown! Ace has this one in the bag!

Ace shakes the ref and finally gets him to come to as he quickly crawls over Matlock who is holding his midsection in pain. Ace covers Matt and hooks the leg as the referee slowly counts 1....2......3!!

Joey: And Ace does it! Ace is going on to the next round!

Ace throws his hands into the air and the referee signals for the bell as he holds up Ace's hand

"Here is your winner by pinfall, ACE HART!!!"

My Time once again blares over the speaker system as the fans boo loudly, none too pleased that Ace has won this one. Hart shakes his head at Matlock, before making his way backstage with a huge grin on his face. Finally, the music stops and Scott slowly gets to his feet on the outside. He looks around at the fans, and after a moment it hits him....the match is over. He looks into the ring and notices Matlock laid out still holding his gut and the look of confusion instantly turns into a look of displeasure....a look of ANGER. Scott quickly slides back into the ring and grabs Matlock by the hair picking him up quickly and getting in his face, shouting obseneties at him! After a moment or two, Blaze shakes his head and turns away, only to turn right back and punch Matlock directly in the face! Scott kneels down beside Matlock, who fell back to the mat after the vicious right hand, and begins to lace into him with lefts and rights before finally noticing the chair on the mat just a few feet away. Scott stares up at the turnbuckle and then at the chair again and a sadistic smile comes across his face. He quickly picks up Matlock again and drags him by the hair towards the turnbuckle, picking up the chair on the way by it, and dropping it again in the corner. Matlock begins to try and get free, but Scott quickly lifts up a knee, smashing it into Matlocks face! He quickly climbs up to the top rope, and grabs Matlock, putting him in position and then jumping off driving Matlock face first into the chair with a vicious top rope pedigree known simply as 'Remorseless'. Scott stays in a kneeled position for a moment smirking as the fans boo loudly. Finally, he gets up as 'Survival of the Sickest' begins to blare over the speaker system again. Blaze spits down at Matlock and shakes his head as he leaves the ring and makes his way backstage as RAGE cuts to a commercial.

(?6 Quite Bitter Beings?continues to rock the house as Ryan Cain approaches the bottom of the ramp, eyeballing both Sapphire Lopez and Chance with a cold stare. This tournament isn’t a joke to him?it isn’t a joke to Sapphire?it might be a joke to Chance, though. Anyway?Ryan gets up onto the apron on one knee, holding onto the middle rope, still staring into the ring.)

Joey: This is another first round match in the God of Wrestling Tournament, fans. The winner of this match will move on to face JT Kash in the semi-finals, I assume.

Trunks: Yeah, this better be good.

(Ryan steps into the ring between the ropes, flinging his wet hair out of his face, as he stands upright, once more. He takes his spot with his back to a neutral corner, near the center of the ring, as the other two already have. The fire in Sapphire Lopez’s eyes is undeniable. The desire written on the face of Ryan Cain is indisputable. Chance is eating cotton candy.

*DING DING!*)

Joey: And?

(THWAP! Both Sapphire and Ryan hit picture-perfect superkicks, right to the jaw of Chance, at the exact same time. “Ohhhh!?

Joey: ?we’re off!

Trunks: Uh?I guess Chance is out.

(Chance is left laying and both Ryan and Sapphire back off, away from one another in respectable fashion. They circle up?and here we go. Ryan charges Sapphire, explosively and suddenly, but finds nothing when she ducks his clothesline. He hits the near ropes and comes back. Sapphire sets for a back body drop and Ryan flips right over her, hitting the ropes again. He comes back and looks for a bulldog headlock, but Sapphire pushes him off. Ryan’s legs hit the top rope, but he has presence of mind to bounce off with a type of split-legged moonsault and land on his feet. The fans applaud loudly, as Ryan Cain and Sapphire Lopez are left in a stand-off.)

Trunks: ?Wow.

Joey: Yeah?this is pretty fast-paced in the opening minutes.

(Ryan’s body starts to loosen up a little as he begins to kind of skip around the ring, ala Marty Janetty, while Sapphire tilts her head to the side, cracking her neck, before circling up once more. And here we go again. This time we just get a straight collar and elbow tie-up. Sapphire grabs onto a front face lock and cranks back on it hard. Ryan pulls her back to the ropes and tries to force her off to the opposite side of the ring, but Sapphire hears nothing of it, sliding to a knee and holding onto the headlock. Ryan is on his stomach now, his breath still being cut off by the facelock. He fights back up to his feet, and tries to force Sapphire off again, but gets the same result as before. Ryan begins kicking his feet in frustration?but manages to regain control of his emotions and starts to pull himself back to his feet again, bringing Sapphire with him. He pulls her back to the ropes, once more?

Trunks: What the hell? He just tried this two times?and we know what happened.

(Ryan attempts to force Sapphire off again, in the same way as before, but when she attempts to slide to her knee, Ryan turns with an amazingly sudden spin, using his and Sapphire’s momentum to carry her all the way around to a hard snap back suplex, landing Sapphire high and tight.)

Trunks: ?I stand corrected.

(He gets to his feet, but Ryan is slow to follow up. That front facelock was basic but severely effective, as Ryan is struggling to catch his breath. Sapphire uses this to her advantage when Ryan attempts the pick-up. She hits two hard elbow-shots to Ryan’s gut, causing him to lose his grip. Sapphire pushes Ryan back to the ropes and whips him across to the opposite side. BAM!)

Trunks: What the hell was that?!?

Joey: CHANCE!

(Whoa, we forgot about that guy. Chance kicked Ryan right in the back of the head when he hit the ropes. Chance groggily begins to ascend to the top rope, without a second thought?but finds himself in trouble when Sapphire suddenly scales the ropes like a cat and snaps off an amazing hurricanrana, sending Chance flipping back into and three quarters of the way across the ring. “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!?Chance is laid out?Ryan stands up on the apron and?SPRINGBOARD LEGDROP ACROSS CHANCE’S THROAT! He jumped all the way across the ring!)

Trunks: Chance is getting his ASS kicked!

Joey: That’s what happens when you forget you were in a match?especially one like this.

(Ryan with the cover, but Sapphire breaks it up at two. Sapphire with the pick-up on Ryan and forces him back to the buckles. CHOP! “WOOO!?CHOP! “WOOO!?Ryan grabs the back of Sapphire’s head and pulls her into the turnbuckle?CHOP! “WOOO!?Ryan reels back for another chop, but decides against it with a little smirk. He sees the slightly dazed look in Sapphire’s eyes and starts to back away, across the ring. He stands ready to charge, blows a kiss to Sapphire, and finally charges all the way across the ring?SAPPHIRE MOVES! Ryan scales the turnbuckles?and hits The SCORE! He stays one for the pin and gets one?gets two?gets thre- SHOULDER UP! Ryan doesn’t even look slightly surprised as he gets the pick-up on his opponent. Ryan whips Sapphire into the ropes before attempting the Blo-Me tilt-a-whirl backbreaker?but Sapphire armdrags out of it! Ryan is quick to get up, however, and go back to try for an advantage, but is stopped in his tracks with a sudden double-leg takedown. Sapphire wraps up Ryan’s arm in a STIFF keylock, and a sudden yelp can be heard from an unsuspecting Ryan Cain. That move looks gruesome as all hell, but Ryan is fighting it. She really starts cranking back on Ryan’s arm, and the pain can be read right off his face. He reaches for the ropes with his hand?not even close. He reaches with his foot?and he’s just a few toes?lengths away. He’s go nowhere to go here?BAM!)

Trunks: Chance again!

(Chance comes out of nowhere with a perfect basement dropkick to the face of Sapphire, causing her to immediately break the hold. Ryan rolls onto his back and clutches at his arm as Chance gets the pick-up on Sapphire. He lifts her onto his shoulder and starts spinning her around, Airplane Spin style. Sapphire somehow manages to spin out of his grasp and brings him down with an AMAZING DDT. And Chance is down again. Sapphire covers Chance and only gets two before Ryan makes the save, just as Sapphire had earlier in the match. Ryan gets the pick-up?and Sapphire suddenly breaks free! BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!)

Joey: That’s the first half of Sapphire’s finishing move!

Trunks: Yeah, I think it’s over if she can slap on that Texas Cloverleaf.

(Sapphire is slow to finish the series of moves off, however, tired from all the competition. She finally manages to groggily approach an unmoving Ryan Cain. She bends down toward his legs?but Ryan nips up, wrapping his legs around her neck and snapping off a hurricanrana! “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!?Ryan is slow to recover this time, as well, but eventually makes the cover. One?two?thr- SHOULDER UP! Sapphire refuses to stay down! Ryan is too tired to make protest, but uses all his strength to get back up to his feet. He manages to get the pick-up and force Sapphire back to the buckles. He whips her across the ring, and charges right behind her. Sapphire stops herself before impact, however, and throws an elbow back into Ryan’s face. Ryan stumbles back, holding his face. Sapphire turns around and hoists herself up to stand on the middle rope?Ryan turns around?Sapphire leaps?ZERO SUPERKICK!!! SAPPHIRE IS OUT!)

Trunks: IT’S OVER!!!

(Ryan collapses on Sapphire’s chest with the cover. One?

Joey: ?two?

Trunks: ?thre-?WHAT?!?

(FOOT ON THE ROPES!!! SAPPHIRE SURVIVED THE ZERO KICK!)

Trunks: Has anyone ever done that?!?

Joey: I really don’t think so!

(Ryan can’t believe it. He’s dumbfounded, and his confidence is a little shot. He shakes his head, but eventually forces himself to get up and drag Sapphire toward the corner. He shrugs her off as if to say “it’s all over,?before heading up to the top rope with his back to the ring. He’s just about to jump?when Sapphire nips up! She immediately pushes his feet apart, crotching him on the top turnbuckle! Ryan’s eyes are wide. Sapphire goes to follow up, but Chance is back! Sapphire elbows him and right hands him until he's dazed. She nails an Enzuguri that echoes around the arena. Moments later she's dragging him to the corner. Sapphire rips Chance up and looks like she's going to Belly to Belly Suplex him right into Ryan Cain, still perched on the top rope trying to regain himself. Sapphire sets up Chance, but Cain is able to stand up. He leaps over Sapphire and rips Chance away and into a crazy Sunset Flip. Sapphire is knocked back, and the pin is already going down as she scrambles to break it up. ONE! TWO! Sapphire tackles... but it's a THREE!!! Cain rolls out of the ring and the ref follows, raising his hand.

*DING DING!*)

“Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Ryan CAIIINNN!!!?

(The referee raises Ryan Cain’s now limp right arm, as he stares down exhaustedly at Sapphire, who looks equally exhausted and a little frustrated about having another win ripped from her fingertips. ?6 Quite Bitter Beings?is playing, and this match is over. A thank you.)

RAGE comes back from commercial and both competitors are already in the ring. Izzy and Voodoo stare each other down from their respective corners, although never meeting before its clear that there is hatred here…if for the fact that both stand in the way of the other advancing in the God of Wrestling tournament. Finally, the referee signals for the bell and both come out of their corners like boxers.

Joey: Well Trunks its time for our last God of Wrestling tournament match of the night. Personally, I think Izzy is going to take the win here…who are you giving it to?

Trunks: Your mother

Joey: In the match Trunks…who’s going to win the MATCH?!

Trunks: Oh…I gotta go with Izzy…she’s HAWT!

In the ring, both competitors have already tied up and Izzy seems to be getting the upper hand, quickly locking in a side headlock quickly but Voodoo quickly reacts and uses his weight and strength advantage over Izzy to pick her up, tip backwards and suplex her to the mat. As would be assumed, Voodoo is the first to get back to his feet and immediately grabs Izzy by her hair and pulls her to her feet and taunts his opponent for a moment bringing on boos from the crowd.

Joey: Voodoo better not take too much time playing games…it could spell his end

Trunks: Yeah…Izzy isn’t some push over like the WWE women

Voodoo finally turns back to Izzy and tries to kick her in the gut for a DDT but is surprised with Izzy grabs his foot and pushes him backwards with all her might and sending him into the corner. Izzy quickly runs at her opponent and does a handstand, locking her legs around Voodoo’s neck and sending him across the canvas with an impressive hurricarana. She acts quickly and covers Voodoo but barely gets a two count out of the attempt.

Joey: Too early for Izzy to be trying that just yet?/FONT>

Trunks: She’s gotta work on Voodoo a little more first…she cant take out John Cena that easily

Joey: Trunks…you just said John Cena

Trunks: What? N-no I didn’t! Don’t be foolish, I said Voodoo

What Trunks called him is beside the point though, as Izzy picks up Voodoo back in the ring and attempts a Twist of Fate, but Voodoo pushes Izzy off of him, and mistakenly into the ref, who is crushed in the turnbuckle and goes down! Voodoo notices this as his opportunity and quickly rolls out of the ring to grab Izzy’s Championess title and slides back into the ring with it. Izzy slowly gets up in the corner from her collision with the referee and as she turns around, WHAM shes taken to the ground by a cheap shot from Voodoo and her own belt!

Joey: Now that’s not right! This isn’t a no disqualification match!

Trunks: Hey, it might not be right…but you gotta respect the guy for taking advantage of the situation

Joey: I don’t have to do a damn thing Trunks! That shit just aint right!

Voodoo quickly covers the championess to try to steal the win away but ‘surprise surprise?there is still no referee to count the fall! Voodoo begins pounding on the canvas trying to get the referees attention and finally, jizmopper begins to stir on the mat. He looks up to see Voodoo with the cover and slowly begins to make a count.

One……Two………Thr…?/FONT>

NO! Izzy kicks out at the absolutely last second, and Voodoo cant believe it! He quickly gets up and lifts Jizzmopper to his feet, arguing that it was most defiantly a three count! Andy on the other hand is trying to tell Voodoo that it was most defiantly only two. During this bickering back and forth, Izzy manages to get back to her feet. She shakes off the immense pain going through her head from the belt shot and walks up to Voodoo, spinning him around. Obviously having the element of surprise on her side, Izzy begins to lace into her opponent with lefts and rights taking him into the corner. With the ref not looking she hits Voodoo downstairs with a knee and proceeds to climb up top and hit a top rope tornado DDT on him! Surprisingly however, when Izzy tries for a pin she barely gets a two count!

Joey: Wow…Voodoo just doesn’t wanna stay down in this match!

He sure as hell doesn’t, as Izzy climbs off him, he gets to his feet…only to catch Izzys left fist in the face! Izzy goes after him once again but this time has not so much luck putting him down, as Voodoo once again begins to show his weight advantage over his opponent, blocking one of her fists and picking her up, only to slam her back down with a sidewalk slam! He picks her up once again and puts her head between his legs, lifting her up onto his shoulders and.....Izzy comes back and downs him with an X Factor! Obviously playing possum the entire time, Izzy picks up her opponent from the ground once again, only to take him right back down with a quick downward spiral! Kneels down to pin the obviously incapacitated Voodoo once again but shakes her head and stands back up. She kicks him hard in the ribs before stepping over him and climbing to the top rope. She stares down at her prone opponent for a moment and smirks before jumping off and hitting a VERY impressive shooting star press…’The Taylor Turnover?as its known. Finally, she covers Voodoo and the ref jumps down and begins the count.

One………………Two…………………THREE!!!

“Ladies and Gentlemen here is your winner by pin fall……Isabella Taylor!?/FONT>

Izzy jumps up from the cover and the ref meets her to raise one of her arms in victory. She grins as the fans boo her and ‘Soulfire?plays over the speaker system again as the Championess and God of Wrestling contender makes her way to the backstage area as RAGE cuts to a commercial break.

Main Event:

Black Widow + WRM def. NED + PowerTrip
via pinfall

The match starts out with Widow and Trip, but the heat has shifted a little due to Trip's absence, and the fans seem to be leaning towards Widow. It's odd, but she totally ignores it as the two ex-spouses collide into a vicious power battle. Trip continues to use his power to push around Widow, but each time she comes back with her lightning speed, and begins to use smart technical wrestling to get Trip off his feet a few times. The crowd is all over him for it, and to escape the heat he tags in NED.

Dangerously gets a good ovation from San Antonio for the good times, but Widow doesn't discriminate. She changes up her strategy and simply goes for NED's throat. Several times the referee has to pry her away, and each time he gets a breather, NED sneers and grins to further enrage her. Widow charges but gets countered into a Tilt A Whirl Sideslam. From there NED quickly shifts to the Razorblade, but before he can lock it down, WRM enters the ring. For whatever reason, with a cold stare, NED releases and tags out to Trip. Joey comments that this is uncharacteristic of NED, and that he must have a good reason for hitting the road when WRM entered.

Widow tags out while Trip gives NED some funny looks, and now Trip and Mercy square off. Hard grappling, but Trip is not able to shove WRM around. The two tangle all around the ring, trying to overpower each other with slams and chops and the lot, but neither backs down. After a Fireman's Carry slows Mercy down, Trip catches him in a quick One Way and really changes the tide of the match. He tries to tag out, but NED won't have any of it. While those two communicate, Widow tags back in. Trip turns around into a Tornado DDT with a followup cradle, and that nearly ends the match. Oddly, NED now tags Trip blindly and smashes a forearm into the back of Widow's head.

Trip and NED start to beat Widow down together, ignoring the referee. They seem to be working well as a unit, using several quick and painful double teams. Finally, they set up for a Double Powerbomb. Widow is hoisted into the air... but WRM comes out of the corner and tackles Trip from the side. Trip and WRM wrap up again and start punching each other... rolling right out of the ring. Their battle ensues on the outside as NED struggles to keep Widow on his shoulders with the balance change. He stumbles around, and Widow wakes uo beginning to punch him in the face. Trip and WRM no longer have an interest as they battle up the ramp viciously. Widow is able to reverse the Powerbomb into the Sweet Dream. She hooks NED up tight, in fact, grabbing the tights... and scores a victory on the NEDster.

Over on the stage, WRM and Trip are brawling. Currently, they're attempting to toss each other off the stage. Unfortunately, they both lose balance, and they plummet down together into a cluster of equipment tables. The wreckage signals the end of tonight's RAGE.
