Joey: Our following match is the special three-way match-up�?for the Championess Title of W2K!
Trunks: BOOBIES!
Joey: Didn’t we stop worrying about those so much and start caring more about the actual wrestling in these matches about�?a year ago?
Trunks: Eh.
Joey: The fact is, these women stand in the middle of this ring every single night and put it all out there for their fans�?and they should be respected for it just as much as anyone else.
Trunks: You’re right. You know what else?
Joey: Wha-�?
Trunks: BOOBIES!
(Alia Starr, Riot, and resident Championess of W2K, Isabella Taylor, are all standing in their respective corners, waiting for the match to get underway. Izzy hands over her Championess Title Belt to the referee�?but she seems to have her threatening glare transfixed upon something�?or someone. The referee takes the belt across the ring to Alia, displaying it to her, and then across to Riot, showing the gold to her in the same way.)
Joey: You know, Trunks, one thing that I think has been nearly overlooked up to this point, pertaining to this match-up�?
(Finally, the referee carries it back to the center of the ring and holds the prize high above his head.)
Joey: �?is the fact that this is Isabella Taylor’s first real chance at getting her hands on Riot, the person she’s considered a mortal enemy since that manipulative woman decided to play her mind games with- OH GOD!
(As the referee lowers the belt, he doesn’t even have a chance to get out of the way as Isabella Taylor suddenly charges across the ring, shoving the man in the striped shirt out of the way, and POUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCING [the action�?not the wrestling move] on Riot! The referee looks up from the canvas and sees the action already in motion, popping up to his hands and knees and quickly sliding the Title Belt under the bottom rope to ringside as he calls urgently for the bell.
*DING DING!*)
Joey: Izzy Taylor didn’t want to wait!
Trunks: She doesn’t have to, she’s the Championess. And can you blame her?!?
Joey: Not a bit!
(Izzy is all over Riot in the corner! Right hand after right hand after right hand after goddamn right hand! Riot had better be careful or she’s going to come out of this match with her face growing out of the space between her shoulder blades! Riot is hunching down a little, withering that much more every time Izzy’s right fist connects.)
Joey: What is Alia doing?!?
(Alia is still in her neutral corner�?just watching as all of this violence unfolds.)
Trunks: Being smart.
(She smirks a little�?and finally begins stalking across the ring, toward Isabella and Riot.)
Trunks: See, watch this.
(Isabella reels back again, but Alia grabs her fist from behind! Izzy whirls around and DISCUS LEFT HAND TO THE FACE OF ALIA SENDS HER TO THE CANVAS!)
Joey: Yeah, that was great.
Trunks: *sigh* Women.
(Izzy doesn’t give Alia Starr a second thought, quickly turning back around- THUMB TO THE EYE! Riot made that well-timed cheap shot with perfect precision, and the referee reprimands her for it, but the scolding falls on deaf ears, as Riot turns Izzy around and whips her across the ring, into the opposite buckles. Izzy takes the whip pretty hard, and Riot looks to follow up, charging across the ring, right into a heaping helping of WRESTLING BOOTS! Izzy gets the feet up and kicks Riot square in the face! Riot stumbles back, holding her face in pain�?and turns back around, only to be met by a forward rolling heel kick from Isabella Taylor! SMACK! “OHHHH!!!�?How Low Ki of her. Riot is down�?and looks to be out. Izzy stands up over her and looks down at her fallen carcass, breathing heavily.)
Trunks: What the hell?
Joey: Cover her, Izzy!
(But Izzy doesn’t cover her�?she just stares down at Riot with rage in her eyes. BAM! Alia Starr suddenly flies into the scene, shoulder tackling Izzy out of the way, so that Izzy falls back against the corner, and Alia takes the opportunity to fall on for the easy cover! One�?two�?THR- NO! IZZY MAKES THE SAVE! She RIPS Alia up from the canvas and KNEE! The knee lift connects perfectly with Alia’s lowered face! AGAIN! AGAIN! This time, Izzy pulls Alia forward and drives her knee into the midsection, keeping her doubled over long enough to hit the ropes and come back for a running dropkick to the temple! “Ohhh!�?Alia collapses immediately and rolls instinctively across the ring, stopping at the bottom rope and clutching the side of her head.)
Joey: Have we ever seen Isabella Taylor so vicious?!?
(Izzy stands up and stares across the ring at Alia, taking the time to spit in a disgusted fashion- ROLL-UP! ONE! TWO! THRE- KICKOUT! Izzy just BARELY kicks out of Riot’s roll-up pin attempt! Izzy is up again�?and she does NOT look happy! Not that she looked happy before�?but even less so now! Or something! Exclamation points!!! Riot sees the look on Izzy’s face�?and she knows she may very well be in a good bit of trouble. Izzy pops up to her feet and doesn’t waste any time stalking toward Riot, who immediately drops to her knees, trying to beg Izzy off.)
Joey: Oh, come on! Have some dignity!
(Izzy is mocking her momentarily, before leaning forward- THUMB TO THE EYE!)
Trunks: HAHA! THAT’S TWO, BEBBEH!
(“WOOOO!�?Riot has the advantage now and pops up to her feet, whipping Izzy into the ropes. Izzy rebounds right into a hip toss from Riot, and just as Izzy hits the canvas, Riot drops the leg across her throat!)
Joey: Quite the combination from Riot.
(Riot is on for the cover and gets one�?gets two�?ALIA STARR MAKES THE SAVE! Alia quickly gets the pick-up on Riot and Riot breaks free! She pulls Alia her in for a short arm clothesli- DUCKED! HOOKED! *VICIOUS* STO FROM ALIA PLANTS RIOT! SHE’S NOW NOTHING BUT A STAIN IN THE CANVAS! Alia is back on her feet�?AND IZZY WHIRLS HER AROUND! Alia takes Riot’s well-taken route with ANOTHER thumb to the- BLOCKED! IZZY SHOVES HER BACK! ZERO SUPERKICK!!! WHAP! Alia falls like a ton of bricks, and Izzy immediately hits a standing Taylor Turnover! She’s on for the cover and gets one�?gets two�?AND WITH THE THREE-COUNT, IZZY CAN CHALK UP ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL TITLE DEFENSE! “Soulfire�?rocks the house and we get a close-up of Izzy’s face�?and she still doesn’t look satisfied as she looks up the entryway. This is when we switch cameras to see a battered Riot stumbling up the ramp toward the dressing room, still unpinned.) |
