The unexpected theme of "Around the Fur" hits up over the P.A System, sending fans to their feet. Slowly out from behind the curtain, we see The Prodigal Son on crutches. He seems to be favoring his lower-back and knees very much as each step he takes, he basically winces. Jake stopped at the top of the ramp for a second, took a look around at the fans who for some odd reason cheered him as he begun his path down to the ring still. Joey: For the first time.. I actually sympathize for Jake. We haven't seen him since he was mowed down by that car, and it doesn't look too good. Trunks: Those R2K guys really have a thing or two coming. and it isn't a money-shot. Jake reached the ring, and slid the crutches below the bottom rope. Slowly getting up onto the ring-apron, he rolled into the ring too and pushed himself up. Yet another wince crossed his face as he stood straight up, looking around the arena once more. He took the mic from the ring announcer and shifted nearly all of his weight onto the right crutch as he waited for his theme to die down. Seconds passed as he sighed, a troubled sigh, while lifting the mic to his lips. Jacob: On Underground, I was cheated out of my title. I was almost killed.. and I was beaten. First lost.. First lost in five months.. See, I'm not out here to cry about what happend. I lost, oh well. I'm not going to go into exile for the rest of my life. But.. Jake paused, seeming to have trouble finding words for something he wanted to say. Jacob: I went to the doctor earlier today. It seems that when that car with me, it nearly broke both of my femurs, and my spine is somewhat hurt. Meaning.. I.. I can't wrestle anymore.. The crowd grew silent, as Jake hung his head. Letting the mic move away from his lips, he didn't bother looking up at the crowd, instead he was seen letting out yet another sigh, before moving the mic back towards his lips. Jacob: One more bump, and I'd be paralyzed. I'm 23, I can't be taking chances with my life. I'd like to thank all the people here, because despite what I said, I respect all of you. You watched me go from some snobby little punk to a full-fledged star, so thank you for your support. I'd like to thank Jeremey.. Cross.. Seifer.. Omen.. Cage.. Hex.. All of the boys and girls in the back. And.. Hopefully one day, I might be able to step back into the ring. Until then.. Thank you.. Thank you very much. Joey: What.. the.. Did.. Did he just inform us on his retirement?! Trunks: No [beep]ing way! The lights blinked for a second, as Jake lifted his head slowly and shifted his attention towards the Jumbotron where a figure stood, illuminated with an odd glow. The figure had the same basic black hood pulled over his head, as blonde hair fell from beyond the hood. Jake took one look at it, and shook his head, while letting the mic fall from his hands onto the ring. He moved himself towards the ropes as the voice spoke, boos ripped through the arena. )( - Trouble: Wait.. What's the matter, Jakey? Can't take a little pain? Did I hurt the baby? Aww, poor thing.. Her troubled laugh sounded, as Jake was seen slowly making his way out of the ring. )( - Trouble: You're going to run, when I'm about to tell you who I am? Tsk, tsk.. Jake stopped midway as he was in between the top and middle-rope, as he backed up into the ring. He stood against the ropes, facing the Jumbotron, )( - Trouble: So you wanna know who I am, huh? Well, it's quite simple if you think about it. Who else could get all that information on you and get away with it? You never thought that I'd do something like this huh? Well, Jake, if you want to know who I am.. All you should of done was asked.. Seeing as this is your last day as an active wrestler, let me give you a little going away present.. Trouble moved her hand up to her hood, and was beginning to pull the hood down, as from the other side of the ring, behind Jacob, the same hooded figure was seen coming from beneath the ring, in her hand was a black bat. She got into the ring unnoticed, as the female on the Jumbotron was slowly pulling the hood off of her head, as she suddenly stopped. )( - Trouble: Or look behind you.. Her meancing laugh sounded once more, as Jake did turn around, semi, before the figure sprinted towards him and hit him right across the low of his back with a stiff shot with the bat. Jake's back arched as he fell onto his knees, in pain. The figure brought the bat back above her head, and with another strike, she brought it down against his back. Once more boos filled the arena as Jake held his back in pain. The woman's feet gathered beneath Jake's body, as she kicked him over and stood over him. Reaching into the pout infront of her, she pulled out a mic, staring down at him. )( - Trouble: You make it too easy. Wanna know who I am? Should of used your common-sense baby. She moved her hand up to the tip of her hood and with one quick movement, yanked it off of her head. The crowd gasped, as most of them knew the face. Megan Mitchell, Jake's wife. The pretty young blonde smiled down at Jacob, as Jake was seen opening his eyes for a second, looking up at her. His eyes nearly popped out of his head as Jake was seen wincing again, before Meg shoved the blunt end of the mic into Jake's throat, as he tried to force it away. )( - Megan: How's it feel to be the bitch now, bitch? She shoved the bat into his throat once more, before letting it fall away from her hands. Stepping over him, she turned towards the fans and took a bow, as the crowd booed the hell out of her. "Bullets" by Creed blasted through the arena, as Megan made her way out of the ring, took once last glance at her husband, before smirking, and hopping the barricade, disappearing into the crowd. The camera returned to ringside, as Jake was seen being attended to by EMT's. He shoved them out of the way, as he very slowly made his way back up, rolling out of the ring. Cage sprinted down the ramp, and stopped infront of Jake. Throwing Jake's right arm over his shoulder, he helped Jake up the ramp, until Jake noticed it was him. Jake shook his head and pushed away from Cage, nearly falling in the process. Cage shook his head as he grabbed Jake’s arm once more and threw it over his head, as Jake put as little pressure as he could on his back. The camera faded off to commerical break, on a sad note. |
