We come back as The Freaks are making their way out to the ring while "Freak" by Silverchair plays in the background.
Macklin: Hide your jaw Johnny cause here come The Freaks!
Askin: Shut up. Well this match came about from some sort of confrontation that occurred backstage earlier today.
Macklin: Yeah we heard rumors all day about some sort of a fight backstage, you know that new girl Ashley?
Askin: You mean the one with the blonde hair and that cute little ENORMOUS RACK!
Macklin chokes on the drink of water he tried to take.
Macklin: Um…sure, anyways I heard from her she saw a tag team known quite well all over this circuit being escorted into Hamid’s office by a very large team of security, while referees and trainers were tending to two other people. Apparently some kind of fight happened or something, the details are still sketchy. The report was posted on W2K.com earlier today, well as it turns out the team well known was none other than The Freaks. The other team, turned out to be new comers Tanner and Abrams.
Cross and Ryan quickly slide into the ring as the four men meet with fists a flying and the song cuts out. The Freaks are sent out with a double Irish Whip, but both men reverse and send Abrams and Tanner to the ropes. Cross quickly turns around and runs really fast to the opposite side ropes, bouncing off gaining more momentum as Ryan jumps in front of the other two men falling to his hands and knees causing both men to jump over his back and in mid air they get absolutely mauled by a Cross double clothesline.
Askin: Holy Hell!!
Macklin: He just obliterated both of them together!
Ryan picks up the remains of Tanner and tosses him out of the ring while Cross picks up Abram and shoves him into the corner. Cross walks up but gets raked in the eyes for his troubles. Cross stumbles away blinded as Abrams gets up on the middle rope and jumps off nailing Cross with a drop kick to the back that takes the big man down to his knees. Cross falls over stopping himself with his hands, now on all fours as Abrams stands up and turns around just in time to get a leg lariat from Ryan Cain off of Cross?back.
Askin: These two work together as one, it’s incredible watching them in the ring.
Macklin: Aren’t you the bad guy?
Askin: Well…I guess the writer just got confused. Cross stands up and climbs out of the ring to brawl on the floor with Tanner while Ryan has Abrams back up to his feet, but Abrams grabs Ryan by the tights and tosses him out of the ring through the ropes and down to the floor.
Askin: Ryan Cain takes a spill out to the floor. Macklin: What are we blind? Askin: Shut up. Cross rolls Tanner back into the ring, and follows in after him as they both get back to their feet when we hear a loud crash on the outside of the ring.
Macklin: Off camera Ryan just reversed Abrams into the ring steps! Ryan slides back into the ring after Cross whips Tanner to the ropes, he comes back and gets a double hip toss, but lands back first across both of The Freaks knees. Cross and Ryan don’t stop there however, and they both toss the guy high up into the air. Ryan runs underneath him towards the ropes, Cross delivers a big boot to the side of the face on the way down causing him to spin sideways as Ryan springboards off the middle rope landing a Lionsault just as soon as Tanner’s back hit the mat. Ryan gets up as Cross pulls Tanner back to his feet. Ryan turns around quickly and flattens Abrams with a Zero super kick from the apron and down into the guard rail. Cross slingshots Tanner off the top rope and brings him back hooking a leg in mid air and drives him down hard with the Edgecrusher.
Macklin: Man! I never get used to seeing that devastating move!
Askin: Good thing all Ryan has is a kick to the face. Askin starts rubbing his jaw from the memories of being punted across the arena by Ryan.
Macklin: You better not ever piss off Cross then, buddy. We might have to bring Joey Kewl back to the table.
Cross is back to his feet now while Ryan for some reason does a handstand behind Cross.
Askin: Wtf?
Macklin: Hey! I think I saw those two guys from Jackass do this on Raw the other night!
Cross grabs Ryan’s legs above his shoulders and bends over while pulling Ryan forward…and slams Ryan down across Tanner with a very impact splash type maneuver. Macklin: Well it wasn’t quite like that…but it’s the basic idea.
Askin: I wonder what exactly happened backstage earlier between these two teams. The Freaks could’ve already beaten them by now, but they’re hesitating on ending the match for some reason.
Macklin: I’m sure it’ll surface at some point tonight or tomorrow. Just keep an eye on w2k.com.
Abrams can be seen crawling back into the ring as Cross and Ryan both greet him with stomps to the back and the head. The Freaks pick him up to his feet as Cross knees him in the gut before lifting him up onto his shoulder. Cross walks out to the middle of the ring with the man across his shoulder as he flips him over into a shoulder breaker, but the big man doesn’t let go, he pulls him back onto his shoulder and walks out a bit farther before jumping up and falling to both knees with a Canadian Back breaker across his shoulder. Cross stands back up as Ryan now ascends to the top rope with his back facing the ring. Cross walks over to the corner where Tanner is laid out. Macklin: I believe he calls this series of moves the Three Strikes. Askin: Makes sense. Three strikes and Cross is back in prison. Macklin: Too true. Cross flips Abrams around now into an X-Factor style move causing him to crash down face first onto his partner. Cross rolls out of the way and Ryan does an Imploding Star Press. That’s a 450 backwards.
Macklin: Ryan just flattened both men with The Tweak! Ryan rolls away from both men while holding his ribs as Cross takes a seat on top of both men and the referee drops to make the count as Cross counts along with him using his fingers. 1. 2. 3. The bell rings as Freak by Silverchair begins to play again.
Askin: Well, that massacre is over with.
Macklin: You gotta give Abrams and Tanner credit for hanging in there through all they did.
Askin: They’re pretty tough, but The Freaks are considered by many the best team to ever wrestle on the entire MSN circuit. They’ve still never been defeated by anyone!
Macklin: That’s an accomplishment not many can say. We’ll be right back after this quick break.
