Joey: Cross is already busted wide open and the match hasn’t even begun yet!
Skylar slowly gets back to his feet and stumbles down the aisle way. Cross staggers up as well wiping the blood from his eyes. He looks like a pissed off beast right about now, following Skylar down to the cage. The door is opened and Skylar steps inside for the first time. Now Cross enters and the door is shut and locked behind them as the bell officially rings.
Trunks: FINALLY!!
Joey: HERE WE GO!
Trunks: Do you really have to say that every time the bell rings?
Joey: LOOK!
Cross grabs Skylar by the back of the neck and runs forward towards a stack of light tubes leaned up against the cage and tosses Skylar, causing him to front flip through the glass.
Trunks: WHOA!! HERE WE GO!!
“HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!�?/FONT>
Joey: SEE!?
Cross rips Skylar back to his feet and picks him up throwing Sky like a rocket into the ring post. Skylar hits, and bounces back on his feet stumbling into Cross. Cross bounces Skylar face first off the cage. Skylar turns around and spears Cross into another stack of light tubes!
“HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!�?/FONT>
Trunks: THIS COULD VERY WELL BE THE MOST VIOLENT MATCHIN W2K HISTORY!!
Both guys are down rolling around in the glass. The adrenaline in both men won’t let them slow down a bit though.
Joey: Now Skylar is bleeding everywhere!
Trunks: And Cross is bleeding all over the place!
Both guys slowly get back up, trading punch for punch. Cross blocks a right by Skylar, kick to the gut.
Trunks: EQUALIZER!
Cross goes for his version of the Stunner. Skylar pushes Cross face first into the cage. Cross puts his foot up stopping short and tears two trash can lids off the wall. He turns around and Skylar swings a light tube. Cross lifts a lid and blocks it causing glass to shatter everywhere. Cross kicks Skylar in the gut doubling him over. Cross takes the trash can lid with glass still on top and uppercuts Skylar in the face with it. Skylar stands up straight and gets two lids smashed into his ears.
Joey: THEY’RE GONNA KILL EACH OTHER!!
Skylar stumbles around clutching both of his ears rolling into the ring as Cross drops the trash can lids and slides in after him. Cross gets up to his feet and Skylar meets him with a cross body block taking both men over the top and back to the floor landing in a pile of broken glass. Skylar gets back up shaking the cob webs off as Cross starts to get back up as well. Skylar’s walking around the ring looking for something, when he finally stops on the opposite side of the ring from where they landed as he comes face to face with the biggest stack of tables ever in a wrestling match. Skylar looks up at the stack that’s nearly as tall as the scaffold itself. Skylar turns around and grabs a table off the cage wall and sets it up, Cross is digging under the ring on the other side as well. Skylar kneels down and grabs a black bag out from under the ring and opens it up, dropping thousands of thumb tacks on the table. Cross comes back around with the trash can lid upside down full of broken glass. Skylar grabs another table and stacks it up on the first table.
Joey: This can’t be good.
Skylar turns around as Cross hits him in the face with the lid full of glass. Skylar goes down holding his face as Cross looks at the two tables and the ominous stack of tables behind them. Cross looks around and sees a trash can full of glass tubes, so he grabs a handful of tubes and lines them up on the second table, then puts the trash can upside down under both tables. Cross turns around and gets a low blow by Skylar. Sky stands up and rolls Cross into the ring. Skylar then follows in after. Skylar and Cross both get back to their feet. Sky pushes Cross into the corner and then lifts the big man up on to the top rope. Sky follows up but Cross pushes him off. Skylar lands with his back turned to Cross. Skylar reaches into his pants and pulls out a big steel chair and turns back to Cross and slings the chain up around Cross�?neck. Sky starts choking Cross out as he climbs up the turnbuckles using the chain for leverage. Finally Skylar gets up to the top and drags Cross up with him, Cross with his head between Skylar’s knees. The chain still wrapped around Cross�?throat with Skylar holding the ends at waist level. Skylar finally drops the chain and lifts Cross up. The crowd hasn’t died down a bit since this match started.
Trunks: TABLES GLASS THUMB TACKS.
Joey: NO, NO DON’T DO I-
HIGH RISE OFF THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE THROUGH BOTH TABLES!!
“HOLY SHIT!!�?/FONT>
Trunks: HE’S DEAD I GUARANTEE IT!!
Cross went head first through both tables, through light tubes, through thumb tacks, and smashing the trash can flat as paper. Both guys are laid out. Skylar rolls away from the wreckage picking glass out of his ass as Cross just lies there all stretched out. Skylar crawls under the ring halfway and comes back out with a ladder. He drags it out and leans it up against the wall of the cage. Cross is starting to stir around now as Skylar kicks him in the side of the head and slides the ladder into the ring. Cross is messing around with something on the floor now as Skylar bends down to grab him…FIREBALL TO THE FACE OF SKYLAR!!
Joey: WHAT THE HELL!?
Skylar stumbles back as Cross gets up holding a long strand of barbed wire. Cross walks over to the stack of glass plates, and looks around seeing a rather wide black table. He picks up a glass sheet and sets it on top of the table, then walks over to Skylar pushing him onto the ring apron. Cross climbs up with Skylar who crawls up to his knees. Cross knees Skylar in the face and wraps the barbed wire around both of Skylar’s arms then around his back tucking it behind Skylar’s knees, then wrapping it back around his body pulling it tight around the wire by Skylar’s arms. Skylar gets rolled up into a ball with the barbed wire as Cross wraps it around Skylar’s neck, then double arm suplexes Skylar over head and right through the glass and the black table.
Trunks: JESUS!!
Joey: SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE!
“HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!�?/FONT>
Skylar lies in the rubble of broken wood and shattered glass as Cross rolls off the ring apron and down to the floor.
Joey: Skylar is completely tied up in barbed wire!
Trunks: It’s almost like Cross just hog tied him, but that’s not a rope! He is bleeding absolutely everywhere!
Joey: Both of these men are bloody as Hell!
Cross bends down and unties the barbed wire, except for around Skylar’s neck as Cross then turns around and grabs a ladder and slides it into the ring. Cross turns back around seeing the several stacked plates of glass sheets then looks over at the enormous stack of tables around the corner of the ring. Cross looks out to the fans who instantly pop again.
Trunks: Don’t…freaking…do it!
Joey: Oh my God. Someone has to stop this before these guys kill each other! I don’t give a damn if it’s the last show or not! The last thing we need are two of the top W2K guys killing themselves!
Cross grabs a plate of glass and slides it on top of the first table. Then takes another and places it on the second. Then another on the third. He stretches another one up to the fourth. Cross grabs several more sheets and slides them into the ring under the bottom rope then grabs the long strand of barbed wire dangling off Skylar’s neck and rolls into the ring dragging it with him. Cross drops the barbed wire and picks up another sheet of glass putting it over the ropes on the fifth table. Then again with the sixth. Cross puts another one on the seventh table. Then walks over grabbing the ladder and sets it up next to the ropes. Cross grabs two more sheets of glass and walks up the ladder with it, putting one on the eighth table, then taking a couple more steps up and placing one on the ninth table.
Trunks: There’s ten tables stacked up there. He’s got glass sheets on every table now!
Cross just finished putting the final piece of glass on the top table. Now he’s moving the ladder back to the center of the ring ready to climb up to the scaffold. Cross picks the barbed wire back up and starts heading up the ladder just as Skylar rolls back into the ring, absolutely soaked in his own blood. Cross makes it up to the scaffold as Skylar starts making his way up the ladder. Cross stops instead of going for the XW title and starts looking around. Cross looks up to the top of the cage that is just next to him. He walks over to the edge of the scaffold and tosses the end of the barbed wire around the top bars of the cage. He reaches out, stretching as far as possible and just barely manages to grab the barbed wire and pull it through an open square at the top of the cage, and then he ties it up in knots. Now Skylar, with barbed wire around his neck and the other end tied to the top of the cage.
Joey: What the Hell!?
Trunks: He’s trying to hang him!
Joey: That barbed wire might be too long to actually hang Skylar as it is. Thank God.
Trunks: Look out!
Skylar is at the top of the ladder now, and Cross turns around just in time to see Skylar climbing up onto the scaffold.
Trunks: Holy Hell. Do you see what I see sitting on the scaffold in a red can?
Joey: …Gasoline!?
Cross and Skylar resume the brawl on the scaffold. Both men trading punches like crazy, Skylar finally slows down and pokes Cross in the eyes, then kicks him in the nuts. Cross bends over and Skylar picks him up…Nail In The Coffin! Skylar’s tribute to Vampiro drops Cross right on the back of his head on the scaffold. Skylar stands up with his head tilted down, his blood soaked hair hanging down in front of his face as he raises his arms out to the side in a crucifix style pose…before spitting out a red mist.
Trunks: Was that blood!?
Joey: Gross!
It rains down into the ring now as Skylar bends over picking up the gas can and looking out to the crowd. The fans starts screaming louder than ever. Skylar walks over to the edge of the scaffold and starts pouring gallons and gallons of gasoline on the huge stack of glass and tables. Skylar pulls a box of matches out of his pocket and lights one. A wicked smile crosses his face as we see Cross starting to get up behind him. Skylar drops the match down on the top table. The camera zooms in and shows the gas flowing down like a water fall, being chased immediately by the raging fire. An inferno of tables and glass standing about twenty feet tall, right below the edge of the scaffold. The crowd all slowly burst out into the familiar song lyrics.
“THE ROOF…THE ROOF IS ON FIRE…WE DON’T NEED NO WATER LET THE MOTHER FUCKER BURN…BURN MOTHER FUCKER…BURN!�?/FONT>
Joey: DON’T ENCOURAGE THEM!
Trunks: THESE PEOPLE ARE GONNA BE THE DEATH OF US!
Cross is now up behind Skylar, he pulls something out of his pants. A sock?
Joey: The sock�?/FONT>
Trunks: What is he now Mick Foley?
Joey: …The sock Cross wields as a deadly weapon has his trademark eight ball inside. A pool ball! He hasn’t used this weapon in a very long time, but Skylar has no idea he’s up!
Skylar turns around as Cross kicks him in the gut. Skylar doubles over. Cross with a brutal uppercut with the sock sends Skylar straight up and backwards. After a mouthful of blood shot out of his mouth Skylar falls back off the scaffold. Almost as if in slow motion he hit’s the top table.
Joey: OH!!!
Then the next�?/FONT>
Joey: …MY!!!
…Then the third.
Joey: GOD!!!!!
Then he falls through the entire flaming stack. Shattering glass and wood the entire way down, still with the barbed wire tied to his neck.
Trunks: HAMID!!! CALL 9-1-1 CALL 9 FUCKING 1-1!!!!
Skylar plummets through the end and hit’s the floor with a thud as Cross is up on the scaffold now looking over the edge.
“HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!�?/FONT>
The crowd is going apes hit. Cross starts to ascend the final ladder, he reaches the top as the XW title dangles next to his face. Cross reaches over grabbing the belt…and tears it down from the razor wire as the bell rings. Edgecrusher blasts through the arena as Cross drops down off the ladder onto the scaffold. He raises his final title belt in W2K up into the air and the crowd comes unglued.
“GRAND SLAM CHAMP!! GRAND SLAM CHAMP!!�?/FONT>
Trunks: I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!
Joey: CROSS IS THE FIRST MAN IN W2K HISTORY TO WIN EVERY AVAILABLE TITLE!
Trunks: We need help down there for Skylar! Raise the damn cage and let the paramedics inside!
The EMT’s are standing at the door with a stretcher desperately awaiting the cage to begin raising. Cross starts climbing down from the scaffold as the cage raises. Cross looks over and sees Skylar sitting up!?
Trunks: OH GOD NO!! LOWER THE CAGE, LOWER THE CAGE!!
Cross looks confused at first…then he remembers he tied the barbed wire around Skylar’s neck to the top of the now rising cage. As the cage rises more and more Skylar rises with it…being hung above the ring by barbed wire. As the cage gets high enough for Skylar to stop sliding against the ropes, his body swings across the ring. Cross drops down to both knees and raises his newly won XW title in the air as Skylar hangs directly above him. Most of the crowd hops the barricade now and rushes the ring.
Joey: IT’S INSANE OUT HERE! SOMEONE HELP SKYLAR!!
Finally the barbed wire breaks and Skylar drops into the ring that’s now being filled with wrestlers and fans.
Trunks: I’m getting in there!
Joey: Screw it so am I!
We hear microphones hit the table as the announcers leave and climb into the ring now along with the complete roster and staff of W2K. Everyone’s left in the ring celebrating the final match on the final show in the final season of Wrestling Two Thousand. As the ring fills more and more, it completely gives out under the weight of all the people and flattens down to the floor. We see Cross and CM shaking hands, then both men holding their newly won titles up in the air. Rebecca Rancid walks over and gets a hug from Cross as she hoists her newly won Championess title in the air. Ryan Cain walks up as does JT Kash. We see NED and XAW. Cross and NED shake hands as XAW and NED then raise CM up on their shoulders. We then see JT and Ryan lift Cross up on theirs. Seifer and Jake come out from the crowd of people and lift Rebecca up in the air. We see Hamid shaking hands with the fans as The Exiles are putting the tag titles on fans�?shoulders and shaking hands with people. Joey and Trunks are mixing it up with everyone. Scott Blaze is out there, someone shows him a sign that says “Blaze Fears Poop�? Kevin dies a little on the inside. Ace Hart’s out there, along with The Slaxors. Tim Torn. Amber, Tyna, Summer and Serenity. Everyone. The refs the interviewers the janitor, every single person in the building is out there in or around that ring. A massive W2K chant erupts throughout the arena as we finally fade off to black, and the sounds of the fans and wrestlers stop. But it doesn’t appear to be the end just yet.
