New Year's Resolutions IV
Backstage with the boss... er, bosses?

With W2K's theme still playing in the distance, with the fans still audiable, we cut backstage. There, we see a familiar face, he who called W2K to arms, he who rallied the troops for one last stand..... agian... Hamid Ismaili.

Hamid Ismaili: "And to what do I owe this displeasure?"

The crowd cheers, as, even though Hamid is freakin insane and violent, he's always been more- over the guy who wants to push through the envelope when running Wrestling 2000... but the anticipation of knowing who he's talking to is satisfied when the camera pans and shows... Jeremy McMillion.

Jeremy McMillion: "Oh, Hammy, I just came by to see if you needed any help."

Hamid Ismaili: "Are you serious? You I've got to be kidding. Why not go to Chicago where they're begging for help. Save Chicago, SAVE THE WORLD, do you not know that? Be at ease, you little worm... this show is going off without a hitch."

Jeremy McMillion: "That's not what you said when trying to get your hands on my chequebook the past few weeks, Hamid. Besides... I know you're going to be quite busy in the foreseeable future answering MSN guided inquiries... tsk tsk. Blowing up an arena, Hamid? Was that really necessary?"

Hamid Ismaili: "... I was hyped up for the 'Rambo' premiere. Can't a man be caught up in the excitement?!"

Jeremy McMillion: "Yes, well- we've been down this road so many times. You can't do it without my money, and I can't do it without your following. You know the score. And you know I didn't chip in to be a silent partner. And... don't think tonight's main event slipped by me. You know we had reasons, Hamid, reasons for keeping them seperated for years. And you're going to waste it on a comeback show? And you say Chicago is desperate."

Hamid doesn't speak. His jaw tightens.

Jeremy McMillion: "I'm going to take a walk around, perhaps see if anything around here needs... a more corporate touch."

The Jerm blows by Hamid, who's frown follows down his body into his balled fists. But now he has reason to be happy, as Johnny Legend, who people actually call Hamid's lapdog, shows up.

Johnny Legend: "Have a good Rammadon boss?"

Hamid Ismaili: "What?"

Johnny Legend: "Don't worry about it boss. Listen, we need to talk. I know that everyone's hyped up about this whole Dangerously/Cross thing, but if I learned anything in my stint in BWA, it's that Dangerously does not draw money... so maybe you should do that mangerial thing you do and replace him with me, or just him and Cross, or, just skip the match and give the belt to me anyways. You know?"

Hamid sighs. He then proceeds to ignore everything Johnny said.

Hamid Ismaili: "No matter what, Johnny, we cannot allow Dangerously to win the title. He's known to be in business with the Jerm. And McMillion is already a thorn in my side, and we haven't even been here fifteen munutes. If he has the Champion in his camp that thorn will turn into a sword. A sword I will pull out of my own ribs and proceed to hack your career into pieces. Got it?"

Johnny Legend: "...... sadly, yes. But siding with Cross?!"

Hamid Ismaili: "Lesser of two evils."

Johnny Legend: "Here's an idea... why not make it easy on yourself. You don't like Dangerously, you know you can't trust him. You don't know if you can trust Cross... so why not.... erm, make that match non-title and then make a W2K Title match between me, and someone you fired so I win by default? I like this idea, and if I came up with it myself I'd be embarassed to bring it up, but there's this fan, a ten year old with cancer, in a hospital... that wrote me a letter, here, let me read it-"

He pulls a crumpled piece of paper out of his pocket.

Johnny Legend: "Ahem, Dear Mister Johnny, Hamid should make you Cha-"

Hamid Ismaili: "SILENCE! We don't have time for this, John. I'm counting on you to make a decision. You're either in this for you, or you're in this for W2K... tonight, I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure Dangerously does not become Champion."

Johnny Legend: "Everything, that is... except for changing the match."

Hamid Ismaili: "Have a sense of adventure, John. This war between the Jerm and I, a very decisive battle will be fought tonight. And, I have the heart of a warrior. Blood must be shed. It must be this way."

Johnny slaps his forehead as Hamid takes his leave, and we fade.
