150. "A funny U.K. story. I the U.K. all DVDs have to have a rating like movies do in the U.S. The Hogan anthology DVD is rated 15, which means you aren't supposed to get it if you are under the age of 15. Usually there is a reason listed, such as violence, nudity, bad language, sexually explicit material, etc. Of course with Hogan, you get none of that. The line of why it has the rating is "This video contains moderate wrestling action."" - (WON 2006-11-20)

151. "Duggan did a promo commemorating the 500th episode [of] Heat, saying Heat was WWE's best TV show, except for Raw, Smackdown, ECW, Velocity, Tough Enough, Diva Search and some others." - (WON 2008-03-03)

152. "Backstage, Vince was with Candice and introduced her to two members of the group ZZ Top. They've been going to matches dating back to Paul Boesch days in Houston, but this was the first skit ever. Candice was wearing a pearl necklace, which is the name of one of their most famous hits. Anyway, the pearl necklace reference is a slang termn for sex on a woman's chest and cumming on her upper chest. I can't imagine when I started doing this that I'd ever be stuck writing [stuff] like this. - (WON 2006-05-29)

157. "Sting yelled at Angle saying that he and Jarrett had 20 years in the business and paved the road for people like Angle, who has less than ten years in. I don't think Sting or Jarrett paved any roads that didn't include companies losing their asses most of the time, but whatever." - (WON 2007-04-30)

168. "I don't know about guns in wrestling. Then again, I'm not a proponent of sledge hammers and baseball bats as weapons either, when Brass Knux and a chair can do the same damage without the same level of "this is bullshit" running through your heads when a guy with a bat is hitting people and they don't get major levels of damage. But the bat and sledge hammer are over. Maybe they can send on of the X Division guys to archery or sniper school and have that be his weapon, standing in the rafters, picking off guys. Then those guys can come back the next week to TV barely selling a beating, like having a band-aid on their forehead where the bullet went in, and we can progress the business to hand greandes while the promoters decry how the modern wrestlers can't get the audience to believe like the guys in the 70s could because they don't know how to tell a story in the ring." - (WON 2007-04-23)

171. About the Hall of Fame: "You don't want too many deceased people, because they can't come to Mania and wave, plus it's bad enough the public perception of the business as guys who die young. They also aren't usually up for doing funny promos, can't kiss Vince's ass and thank him and his entire wonderful family for their career (even if they were bigger stars in other territories), or telling stories about something Ric Flair did in the Carolinas in the 70's including stewardesses, Blackjack Mulligan and the back of a van." - (WON 2007-01-22)

172. About the Hall of Fame: "Ultimate Warrior - It will draw a rating and the curiosity of him waving at Wrestlemania, plus getting to hear him do an incoherent homophobic promos is worth the price of admission. Plus, since he had no friends, he could both induct himself and give the acceptance speech. And if Hogan is there, he can bring up that he beat Hogan in that Mania match. Plus, he can thank Eric Bischoff for bringing him in with that brilliant gimmick where Hogan could see him and the audience could see him in the mirror, but Eric couldn't. What a concept! I don't see this one happening though." - (WON 2007-01-22)

173. About the Hall of Fame: "Mr. Fuji - a record setting run of worst manager awards, a legendary ribber. Why not?" - (WON 2007-01-22)

174. About the Hall of Fame: "Mr. T - If it wasn't for Mr. T and Cyndi Lauper, we'd still be watching wrestling today on our black & white 19 inch TV sets and going to matches in smoke-filled halls." - (WON 2007-01-22)

175. About the Hall of Fame: "Mike Tyson - Mike may be tied up at that moment. Or locked up." - (WON 2007-01-22)

176. About the Hall of Fame: "Jake Roberts - At least it adds excitement to the mix to see wheather he'll show up and that kind of condition he'll be in. After his last stint in TNA, he's my first pick to put on live television." - (WON 2007-01-22)

177. About the Hall of Fame: "They need two main eventers this year. And even though Dusty Rhodes weighs enough to count as two people, that still leaves a slot open." - (WON 2007-01-22)

178. About the Hall of Fame: "Dusty Rhodes - I think they have no choice but to put him in this time. Besides, I want to hear the story one more time about how Vince Sr., on his deathbed, called him up and told him how he's the only one powerful enough to stop what his son is going to do." - (WON 2007-01-22)

186. "Samoa Joe came out in a suit. He thanked Kevin Nash for teaching him about the business. As long as he didn't teach how to book using 1999 WCW as an example I guess that's okay. Or teach Joe how to work. Or teach Joe how to no-show PPV matches when he's booked to lose." - (WON 2008-03-24)

192. "In one of the great quotes of all-time, [Kurt] Angle was on the radio show and said the only thing that would prevent him from being medically cleared to fight would be his neck, but he would be willing to lie to pass. That's a smart thing to say publicly before applying for a license." - (WON 2007-02-05)

215. "Dawn Ostraff, who heads the CW Network, said the Benoit tragedy has no effect on its relationship with WWE. She said the two (WWE & CW) are good partners and "They've been responsible with the programming they give us." Obviously unaware of the programming they've given them, Ostroff also noted that Benoit had never been featured on Smackdown." - (WON 2007-07-30)

224. "After five years, TNA finally got the next to last step of what had been a long-time goal. Once it became apparent that the business model of weekly $9.95 PPV shows with no television didn't work, the goal was to recreate the Monday Night Wars, and be in the WCW position, but with far less stupid spending and hopefully far less stupid booking. And they do spend less." - (WON 2007-09-17)

226. "Cage, Tomko and Styles came out and Cage started insulting Matt Morgan. He said that Joe was trying to kill him by choking him with the T-shirt and blamed Morgan for waiting five minutes to make the save, saying you don't let the company's marquee wrestler ger choked over the ropes for five minutes. Well, you don't. You just make him a hen-pecked husband and then wonder why he can't draw." - (WON 2007-09-17)

233. "Vince McMahon said that he always gives people what they want. The response was a loud "Y2J" chant that he wasn't expecting. Then he said, he isn't giving them that." - (WON 2007-10-15)
