I'm sure you all have heard, that MSN is going to be Closing its Groups, sometime in February.
Kristin & I, have discussed moving the Group...to a different location...and after searching and doing some investigating...We have decided to move to 'FaceBook Groups'. Kristin has already Created the group, She has done an Awesome, job! And we are in the process of moving info. from 'The Brightside'...over to the new group.
Now, in order to join the new group..over at 'FaceBook' groups...You have to first sign up for a 'FaceBook' account..

Its really simple...alls you need is your email address...and it is a "secure" site. Once you join 'FaceBook'...then you can join the new group. If you wish to join the new group.,and you have a 'FaceBook' account...let us know, and we can send you an invite...or you can search 'groups' at 'Facebook'..and find the group..and apply. This is the name of the new group..

Autism Spectrum Puzzle, Information & Education(A.S.P.I.E)

We decided on this location for moving the group...because it is easy to navigate...and it doesn't have that "Bloggy" feeling. And Kristin, has done a wonderful job organizing catagories, and setting it up...so everything is "right there". Its awesome!
We hope you will consider moving with us over to the new group...We don't want MSN to break up our "little family"...

Huh? What?????? Closing Groups??? Where, Why, Who WTF???

I don't have every 'detail'...But its all over the MSN groups...

MSN will be closing all groups...on Feb. 21, 2009. I think they are going to go to 'MSN Live' groups...Or something like that..?? And they give you the option to move your group over to 'Multiply'...(whatever that is)...I've checked out a few of the options, people have chosen to move their groups...But I found them confusing. And 'FaceBook' seems to be the "easiest"..

I don't agree with MSN's desision...(I think its stupid)...If its Not broke..don't throw it away!

Well, looks like we're ready to open the doors. So come on over anytime. Debz &I are very excited about the new group and hope you all join us over there. We're not abandoning this group, it'll still be here, right til they shut us down and we'll still be here but if you'd like the opportunity to get comfortable with the new group before this one shuts down then, the option is there.

And again, if you need any help getting a Facebook account, please don't hesitate to ask. Thats what we're here for.

Yes...Like Kristin said...We are keeping 'Brightside' open...up until the Very End. So there is plenty of time, to move over to 'A.S.P.I.E'...if you want to...And to get used to the new group. I know some of this might take alot of getting used to...Since we are all used to the "feel" of MSN groups. But I think 'A.S.P.I.E'...over at 'FaceBook Groups'...has basically the "same feel". There is a place just like the 'General Board' here....To say "hello"...To talk about our kids....Ask Questions....etc...And theres a whole list of Subjects, with links etc...about Autism. Its all the stuff from the boards here...like IEP info....Behavior info....Resources..etc...The only think we can't do there is post "tags"....Which we really never did here anyway. We just don't want to lose contact with any of you...You have all been like "family" here. Thats why we made the new group...So when MSN does close it groups...you all are not just "hanging there". We want to be able to stick together...and continue to hold each others hands...as we go through this "Journey"...called Autism.
