Now, a but about me.
I have 4 beautiful kids, Adam 14..NT, Luke 11...ASD and GDD, Chloe 9..NT and Jake 3..NT. I am a single mum as of about 18 months ago. We live in a seaside town on the South Coast of NSW Australia. i am a qualified nurse but at the moment am a SAHM, I have no one to watch the kids, so I cant do shift work. i also manage an msn autism support group, so if the managers here want anything I have in my group please feel free to let me know.
Luke is currently attending a special school here, he has only been there since the begining of this term.Prior to that I homeschooled him for 2 years due to him being transfered from the autism school here into mainstream, where he just didnt cope and the the teachers had no idea of autism.So, i pulled him out and homeschooled him until he said he wanted to go back to school and the special school was the only other option. He has done so well there and the teachers are great...but I really miss homeschooling.
