This is from BellaOnline (Bonnie Sayers).  It is a comprehensive review of the training manual.  It gives a greater understanding of the process of how PEC's communication works.  I can say though, there is more than one way to use PEC's.....every child is different and I found the longer you use them.....they actually start aiding in transitioning and schedules too.
