Ingredients
10 NATURE’S OWN Honey Wheat Bread Slices
1 (8-oz) package light cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 lb peeled cooked shrimp, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, pressed
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp mayonnaise
1 tsp grated onion
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp seasoned pepper
Directions
- Remove and discard crusts from wheat bread slices, and cut each wheat bread slice into 3 strips. Place bread strips on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350ºF for 5 minutes. Turn and bake 5 more minutes or until golden.
- Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in shrimp and next 6 ingredients. Spread mixture evenly on toasted bread strips.
