Ingredients
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine plus enough additional melted butter to brush on dough before baking
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon to taste
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup confectioners sugar
Milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray bottom and side of 9-inch round cake pan.
Roll dough onto floured surface to make 12 x 6-inch rectangle. Brush 1/2 cup butter over entire surface. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture, reserving enough to sprinkle over dough before baking. Add pecans. Roll lengthwise; slice into 8 equal-size pieces. Arrange slices in cake pan. Cover with towel and place in warm place. Let rise to double, about 35 to 40 minutes. Brush with butter and sprinkle with reserved cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
To make frosting, combine confectioners' sugar with enough milk to make a stiff frosting. Frost rolls while still warm.
