Spiced Cider ham ~
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 fully cooked ham, about 3 pounds
* 4 cups (32 ounces) apple cider or apple juice
* 2 teaspoons dry mustard
* 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
* 1/4 teaspoon allspice
* dash nutmeg
* 2 cups golden raisins
PREPARATION:
Combine the cider, spices, sugar and raisins in a saucepan. Heat on low/medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Place ham with enough cider mixture to cover into your slow cooker/crockpot and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
