Parasitic Behavior
The parasite only lives through taking its life force from another organism. Parasitic behavior in human beings is reflected in the taker who cannot give back or will not contribute to anyone else's survival or well-being. These types of human beings have no sense of altruistic conscience. Their sad, victimlike stories, and their need to be supported, are only masking the parasite within.
Testing such an individual is easy. If they are willing to be taught how to support themselves, and are willing to contribute without having to be asked, they are not parasites. If they leech energy from others and make up stories about why they cannot get better unless you do it for them, watch out! The good-hearted often get sucked into situations where they are giving away their life force and becoming weak, unable to bear others' set of burdens.
It takes strong people to walk their talk. Walking tall, in this instance, is having the strength to stop being a host for leechlike individuals. Then the next step is in admitting that we sometimes take care of others so we will not have to turn and face the parts of ourselves that could use the same kind of nurturing care.
In ancient times, those who refused to contribute to their Tribe's survival were banished or left to go hungry. Takers had no honor, and neither did those who would help those individuals steal life force from the community without giving in return.
