This is Eleanor. She is approximately eight years old - we don't know for sure because we rescued her from the local pound. We were looking for a dog who would be great with our daughter, Samantha, who was six at the time. We won the lottery with Eleanor! She is obedient, sweet, and beautiful. When we took her outside at the pound, she sat on command, and when we let our daughter near her, she laid on her back to be petted and was very gentle. We thought we had saved her life when we adopted her, but she has been a blessing in more ways than we could mention. She is amazing. Eleanor follows me everywhere, goes to bed with Samantha, loves everyone and everyone loves her, even the two kitties.

    Eleanor is a talker, but only when she is playing with us. Her favorite toy is a squeaking tennis ball - she will lay on her back and squeak it in her mouth, she throws it in the air, and searches for it under the couch if she can't find it. Eleanor also loves to play hide and go seek with us. Overall, she is the sweetest dog I have ever been around, and we love her very much!
