Bossman came in a while ago and told me "So-and-so has a hard-on for that guy."

I thought it hysterical that he said "hard-on" to me lmao!  We're pretty laid-back here and my potty mouth blurts out a lot of things a lot of times, but that struck me as funny.

I wanted to dance around singing "Yoooouu saaa-aaaaid haaaarrrrd oonnnnnn...Yoooouu saaa-aaaaid haaaarrrrd oonnnnnn..." (hee hee).

Twer it moi.... I would have said "boner" ROFLMAO!

Well said Miss...was getting ready to say that also when I saw you beat me to it.  Religious freedom is the core of our roots in America.  Some of our forefathers were Christian but held deistic views, some claimed to firm agnostics or atheist.  I have strong views about religion, spirituality and personal relationship but I also uphold a person's right to agree to disagree and to listen to their viewpoint.  Most times believe that if you live out what your beliefs are has more power than forcing them down someone's throat.  We are a nation of variety and I am blessed by that.  I am proud of the one's who founded this nation and understand their reasoning behind church and state separation.  Sometimes I do (gasp) agree with Pete that some people do take it to extremes...but that is on both sides.

Therm , gee whiz, we only have so many more days to bash the present administration; after that it is a whole new clean slate to bash upon.  That I think is also something our forefathers gave us the right to do...admistration bashing.  LOL.  Tiny we all have a right to our opinions.  That is how we discuss and how we learn.

Could to be back home...rofl...some of you ready for me to go back into hibernation again.  Hee Hee.

If I had a hard-on (hey, that's how this thread started!) for 4 hours, I would not call the doctor, I would call eye-witness news.

Hugs, I think most are in agreement that you are allowed to say "Merry Christmas" and yes, she probably should have responded in like way. But if she doesn't, we don't have the right to argue the point.  That's all.

Okay back to Bush on Viagra.... or w/e that conversation was..........

Hugs, our land was established by pilgrims who left a country where they were unable to practice religion or believe the way they wanted.  They wanted a place where religious freedom could be established.  Our country has established...way back with our founding fathers...religious freedom.  So what does religious freedom mean to you?  Just Christianity?  We also built this Nation on the backs of slaves.  We murdered and stole land from the Native Americans.   So to use the Chrisianity argument "what our country was founded on" is a little naive.  We've grown and evolved from a groupthink mentality as a Nation. Again, Christmas isn't about "GOD".  It's about the birth and celebration of our Saviour.  NO ONE will contest the birth of Jesus.  What is contested is the "purpose" of his birth.  And that's OK.  Many have died fighting for our rights in this great Country.  One of those rights is religious freedom.  THAT is what should be defended.  Try to see a little further past the end of your nose.  Keep your mind open.  And unless your willing to display the behaviors of Christianity, keep it out of your argument to defend why you believe the way you do.

Miss, i have to disagree with you about the pilgrims, yes them and the puritans were the first colonist here but where you are misled is they did not establish this country...it was the british colonist who revolted again taxation (washington, franklin, ross perot.ect) who actually established the first 13 colonies later to become states. This is where Christianity and our govt started. (winks at miss and says you can teach me social studies or sex ed anytime)

You're right Petey.  Pilgrims didn't establish the country.  I'm lousy though at trying to express my idea/thinking in writing but you get the jest of what I was getting at.  I believe Dawnie expressed what I was getting at much more clearer.

Thank you Dawnie!
