TINY< Never have I seen anyone judge others here, even when I asked about PC well honey you are the one who pays it it may nio be my choice,  but I am not your keeper, I know I sound harsh, but I have lived in times when my kids ate thursday but I had to wait till paycheck came friday. That was a long time ago, but I do not forget it. Hubby and I smoked then we started making our own then things started to get better for us,  these are the hard times but with love and parents who care your kids will get through. I promise. mine did now they have nme to look after .  poor things.

Good Lord.  Do you know that some employers won't even accept an application by paper?  You have to do it online!!  The internet isn't so much a luxury anymore.  It's almost if not, turned into a necessity.  I shut mine down for a period of time.  I had to turn it back on because my kids needed it for school projects, reports and one child takes a class online.  Times are tough for everyone out here.  What one finds as a priority, the other may not. 

i dont smoke i dont do drugs i just face everyday as i wake up my husband isnt dead beat we are just young i guess we both try to make a living the right way but it seems times get tougher and tougher we both dont come from high families we dont ask for help from noone i just needed some advice as far as what another would do

nothing wrong about asking for help just sometimes you need to learn from others and their stories and how they got through the hard times when they had noone or think they have noone and there is good people out there and i am learning that slowly i remeber when my father was here before he passed on 05 he would take the shirt of his back for anyone that needed it and you dont find many out there like that anymore

i reminded today too stop thinking about what i dont have and be happy with what you do it could be worse my family could be in a different place heck there is people out there worse then me and i know this thank you all and all i need is too keep the faith and always have a smile and laugh

I agree with Lost, What is wrong with asking for help?  It might be slim pickens out there for that this year as well, but I'd ask anyways!  At least for the help with the electric and water!  Kids will understand, they may be sad, but they do get it!  I am sure that you have things laying around that you could "give" them as a gift.  When my kids were smaller, I had a year where it was tougher than usual, and I gave them all things we had already that they "liked" my middle son loved a sculpture I had of a black panther, and so it was one of his gifts, and he still has it!  My daughter was smaller, and I had a robe that was short and silky but not at all inappropriate, and she loved it, so I gave it to her for a gift, and she is 14 and still has the ratty ole thing!!  I gave my oldest my marble collection from my childhood days, and he still has them!  Does not have to be store bought items, just give them something with meaning!!

Contact your local Department of Human Resources, they can usually tell you where to go for help for the childrens gifts. They can also give you names of organizations that can help with utilities when you're in a crunch. There are always organizations that can help families with small children, just finding them isn't always easy. I was moslty a single parent with dead beat dads, Some of these people have helped me in the past, I was very greatful and my children were very surprised at what Santa brought when they knew mom had no money.
