I did not get a flu shot this year and have been dying the past few days with a butt kicking version of the flu bug. Am still pretty weak but too onery (or dumb) to lay around for another day.
Do you all get flu shots and what do you think of them? |

Dear dumb  Where have you been ? Just because you're a Christian and its Christmas is no good reason to abandon us/me/them Yup! Got my flu jab ( free!) as I did last year and the previous year - result- no flu ! |

Steve gets one every year free at work. I don't but then I never get the flu anyway. I have been sick for two weeks with something the boys(my son got it first and then my brother called me to watch his so he could go to work) gave me but dr says it is not the flu it is another bug that was going around. I usually never get sick but I got double germed and it was at the worst possible time of the month for me when my resistance is low  Hope you feel back to your old self soon Dawnie we have missed you (apparently Sunny too) lol |

I haven't gotten one. I don't usually get the "flu" just more of sinus/allergy issues. Glad to hear you are back on the mend, Dawnie!!! |

I get one every year now for the last 4 years. I never did before because I never got the flu. Well, guess what? 5 years ago...I got the flu. I was sicker than a dog for 4 days...lost paid time from work, my house was in shambles, I swear to heaven no one around here knows how to clean a cat box or dog dookie in the yard except for me so "go figure" on that one.... I don't have time to be sick. |

i get sick once a year so whats the point in a whole flu shot cause if there is germs around then you breath them anyways |

We've been getting our yearly flu shot for a few years now. This year SWMBO got a Pneumonia vaccination also. I didn't know there was one! SWMBO is also an excellent diagnostician. I didn't know I had an illness, but when I told her some things (no need to repeat them here,) she turned around and said, "You are sick!" Gofigure. |

lmbo therm. Yes, TinyCat, you will breathe them anyway, but this is the same as an immunization. If you breathe the germs, hopefully they won't affect you or at least won't affect you as badly.  I had forgotten... one or 2 days last year I was sick..and I mean SICKKKKKKKKK as in "let me curl up in the corner and die." I had to crawl to the bathroom and crawl back to my bed. I don't know what I had, but it was horrible stuff. TG it didn't stick around long! |

nope i dont get the flu shots.... my boys(all 5 of them get them) and they still end up sick...im to busy to be sick.... and if do get like a lil bit sick i dont have time maybe one day... i think the germs flu take one look at my routine that they go ..........oooooh no gurl, your not for us  funny thing i have like 4 months of sick time and i may use 2 days omgim not right |
