A friend of mine got it for her kids and us adults ended up playing it for about 5 hours. I might have to get Guitar Hero for my 360 now.

I saw some kids playing it and it looks like a blast, i have flight simulator X and i fly the friendly skies. The game is very realistic (i should know as i was a licensed pilot) so i can program the plane and the weather...pretty much do anything i like..i have lots of fun with that game.

In fairness I love Guitar Hero and rockband not only cause we can play together BUT also cause it is one of the few games my 17 year old plays with no violence (of course some of the lyrics could be questionable lol) But NO VIOLENCE makes me a happy mom lol

No rock band, but we got Jerisa a karaoke machine for Christmas.  I've had as much fun with it as she has...  lol.  AJ and I did a few of the Grease duets and had a blast.and wouldn't be half bad with a bit more practice and a CD that wouldn't keep messing up...lmbo.  I've done karaoke before and sing in church many times (solos, too) but have never really done karaoke in public (like at a bar or such).  I think I would love it.  I have done a lot of public singing..... love it!!!

If you sang church solos then bar karaoke for you is like a pro football player joining a flag football league in his spare time.

Hey, I bet the Cowboys aren't doing anything for the next 8 months. Maybe they could find a game they might win.

Hey Lost, my 7 yr old grandson loves his rock band.  He is 7 going on 30.  Been playing ps2 since he was almost 3.  Draws in his dad's autocad program and has for a couple yrs now.  They are amazing to watch these days.  They are playing AC/DC.

Yeah, I bought Guitar Hero World Tour and I'm barely managing a career on the medium setting. Most kids I know are tearing it up.

my son actually suggested today when Hubby siad he tried it cause some of the younger guys he works with play. That he could become a guitar hero ringer and coax them in and then take their money rofl Hey at least the kid is creative about how to pay for College rofl

Anyway I hear your angst lost my son only plays on expert and I can't even watch it at the right speed rofl
