My little Duckie ..so soft and so sweet
He waddles across the room ..over to my feet
I look down and see him.. frowning to and fro
He looks up at me.. and says "I don't know"
I pat him on his back ..and send him on his way
He stampers back and forth.. nothing more to say
I hear a little chirp..right outside the door
It's not my little Duckie..as I thought before
Now a full grown Rooster..that my eyes appear
Standing tall and proud...like he had no fear
You said I was a duck..that's not me at all you see
For your eyes have deceived you..I'm who I shall be
So if you look outside the truth..your heart is not in place
For God has made me who I am..He's my only saving Grace
So don't see things for what their not..for he knows only Truth
Just Praise to him and he will come..from elders down to youth
