Wishing you were Here

As night falls in my world,

my thoughts drift to you

and how I wish you were here,

cuddling with me, too.

Laying beside you,

wrapped in your arms of love,

I can't help but think you're

and angel sent from heaven above.

As you caress my skin,

you stir my feelings inside.

I am so at ease with you,

there's nothing I want to hide.

As we share our wants, needs,

and most passionate desires,

we know there is nothing that will

ever extinguish our burning fires.

For now, tho, all I have are my

thoughts and my dreams.

It's only time that stands in

our way, or so it seems.
