I am new to the group, so here is my first entry.

 

Once by the door he pauses to stand,

As he takes his class ring off of her hand.

All those who were watching didnt dare speak,

As silent tears rolled down his cheek.

 

All through his mind the memories ran,

Of moments they talked, and walked in the sand.

But now in her eyes, so terribly cold,

Never again would he have her to hold.

 

They watched in silence as he bent near,

To whisper "I Love You" in her ear.

He touched her face and started to cry,

He put on his ring and wanted to die.

 

Just as the wind started to blow,

They lowered her casket into the snow,

This is what happens to many alive,

When friends let friends, drink and drive.

 

I have many more peoms for all emotions, this one just means the most. Thak you.
