1 1/2 pounds of 80/20 ground beef

 

1 egg yoke

 

1/4 cup grated onion

 

1 large garlic clove minced

 

1/2 teaspoon of oregano

 

1 teaspoon of basil

 

salt and pepper to taste

 

6 slices of provolone cheese

 

Mix together the beef, egg yoke, onion, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Mix lightly, using your hands. Shape into 6 patties. Grille to desired doneness. Top with the cheese.

 

Serve on burger buns or plate
