Doug liked this, so here it is as promised

1.5 lbs. ground chuck (I used ground round)
1.5 teasoon salt
0.25 teasoon pepper
0.5 cup milk
1 egg

mix together well. shape into small round patties. ( I usually make 6). wrap them with a strip of bacon, fasten securely with toothpicks, broil.

Serve with mushroom gravy ( of course you can omit this if you would like)

Heck, that is hamburger steaks... lol

I never measure salt or pepper.  And seasoned salt is good in it too.

And yes, they are very good !  Thanks!

That sounds awesome again.....   might have to have that for supper tonight, Sweetea!   Oh, as a shortcut, I simply open a can of Cream of Mushroom soup and dump over it, and heat.

Yummy!

Do you have any other good quickee meals?

The quickest thing that comes to mind is layering spaghetti sauce frozen tortellini (cooked) and shredded Mozzarella cheese in a 11X 7 inch pan or 9 X 13 inch pan and baking until warm. 400F for about 30 minutes.

Don't forget to grease the pan first for easier clean up. I use a 28 ounce can of spaghetti sauce or you can use a jar. It depends on how much sauce you like.
