This game is about putting two words together that mean somthing when combined.

When combined the new word will mean something different than the two words meant standing alone.

The two words may be joined as a single, 'combination word' (for one turn in the game) if they are listed as one word in the dictionary. They may also be a hyphenated word.

The next player chooses either one of the two words to be one of the two words in the new combination.

Example of what several players' turns in a row might look like (colours optional):
format becomes door mat,
door mat becomes back door,
back door becomes setback,
And so on
