It was foggy here tonight. Rainy during the day, but started fogging up as it started getting dark. Great Halloween weather after all. But, the front porch light went out. I changed bulb. It was is still out. So, it is either the switch or the outside fixture. Rats, now I've got all this candy to eat, er, get rid of. Missed playing games on the kiddies this year. I was going to put on (Heath Ledger) Joker makeup tonight. <sigh> It will be old hat by next year and I'll have to think up something else.
The year before my brother passed, 2005, I dressed up as a rather gruesome character. Most of the kids loved it. Some young ones were terrified by it, and some teenagers were just rude about it. Let's see if I can upload the picture for you..... |

Here it is, the last Halloween I actually enjoyed.....
Okay, okay, so I'm not the makeup artist Jen's daughter is, but I think I could have managed Ledger's Joker makeup! |

That stupid game they are playing made me so upset, I downloaded the picture from their site and uploaded it to paste into this thread. What cheesy jerks to be that way. Anyway here was the image which should have shown up at the top of this thread.....

Now it's bedtime for the old guy with a bullet hole in the center of his forehead. Night'all. |

Thanks for the jack-o-lantern, and your funny, painted face. Not as good a make-up job as Jen's, but you didn't have an apprentice make-up artist doing yours.... |

We were mobbed by kids. Apparently they "loved" coming to the door. |

I am jealous, Pikes. This year you were mobbed but I was robbed. |

Piles, I finally took the tour. No wonder the kids loved the journey to your front door. I expect you made it worth their bravery when they eventually got there too! <g> Had you lit the path to keep them from stumbling? What a great trek that was! <bwg> |

Under this deck are the speakers and microphone, recording and playing back their voices below and behind them.
Marvelous!!! |

Xer, it was dimly lit with an occasional c-4 type red Christmas light. Enough to see not to stumble, with that "occasional" small light. If I was you, in that wardrobe, I would answer the door like Sean Connery, playing the role of James Bond. Little rolled balls of fresh pizza dough makes excellent warts too. |

We tried NOT to be mobbed. Last year, the plan was so effective, one kid in ten actually made it to the door. Next year, we'll have a different plan. Shame how the carnivorous plants are so small. |
