I declared to be a "do-nothing" week. Very little computer time and almost no internet time. Spent a day at the Greenville SC school district Science Center which featured a mini Civil War re-enactment. Amazing what we saw over there. All sorts of scientific displays with tremendous student participation. Lots of people were dressed in mid 1800 costumes. At one point the costumed people were doing period dancing followed by all people invited to join them. We abstained. ho .A couple of three miles from our home, there is a neat lake for bird watching, walking, picnicking, whatever. Spent some time there watching a good Anderson friend and his buddies racing radio controlled sail boats. Then of course there was a day at one of the large malls here. Turns out that Greenville is a shoppers paradise. Also, we popped down to Anderson for visits with friends there. Really had a good "do-nothing" week. Will have to try that again.
I posted three pics with some difficulty and no success in getting them screen size. Just for the fun of it, I tried all optional sizes. I'll leave those turkey pics there and see if I can do something about the size. Actually, the pics are no great deal.
oc...hey "spelling police" u gotta take it like it is !! hi KC....

Cooter, I am delighted you had so much fun last week. Hope you can still manage to squeeze us into your schedule the odd moments?
The three pictures you posted, they are from Swede Heaven? Two of them that farout computer room you showed me and the missis? I revisited all the photos in your album. Ah nostalgia, nothing else quite like it. I still love the memory of that place. Have you taken any yet of the countryside where you now live? Don't the Blue Mountain's run through there? Or, is that only north of you? How far do y'all live from Alizarinred? Ever consider dropping by there to peruse her studio? |
