This Cafe is "home" to me (not my "Homepage" - that's The Weather Channel - but the very first place I click after checking Weather forecast.....)  Where will I go if the Cafe closes?

Sammers (not one of Xer's favorite people, but an old friend of mine,) has created several new Boards (one on Multiply, but others on other servers.....)  I've joined up on a few....

Xer needs to find us a new Location for the best Cafe on the 'Net!!!

I don't really care where we go; I'll learn how to navigate in spite of this stupid brain of mine.   I just pray we have a place like this where we can feel as comfortable sharing stuff we don't wish to share so "publicly" as on other BBSs.....   I share stuff with ya'll here that I don't share anywhere else!

Can we have another Cafe like this one somewhere else?

Natch! Multiply is the only place I know of, yet, where we can migrate our archives, so that is the likely default, at least to keep the archives available to us. But, why rush? We've still got months, 'not to worry' (said the grasshopper)...

Sweetie, I'm not sure why you think Sammers is not one of my friends. Check out the member's list. Sam joined this board the very same day it was established! He and I go back to the old MSN boards too, just like you and me, Case, Kitty, Aliza, and Nacho. Sam is family. Hell, everybody here is family by now.

Love ya,'
Xer

I think we can certainly consider Multiply, as well as other possibilities. We should look for stability as well as service.

This is a different community, in that respect and trust are actually practiced. That clearly should not be let go.

Xer, I put up pics from Ama Dablam for you; A remarkable Himalayan peak southeast of Everest. I had one of a yak.

Coot, I'm not sure how to put it into words, but this place, and you people, mean more to me than simple enjoyment. Y'all are real friends.
